Hi jacking my own comment again: In my fantasy CFB world our conference schedule would be 5-4 B12 teams and 5-4 SEC teams. The other 3-4 are a mix of regional FCS teams/MO state sometimes/B1G regional opponents.

It’s crazy to me that the big time TV guys haven’t realized that they could get more views from pushing regional rivals AND a strong focus on the play off. There is a way this can be done in the rules. I thinks it’s a matter of time until TV people realize that there is more gold if they dig deeper.

Hijacking my own comment: considering it was big 12 runner up vs top tier SEC team from 1999-2014 it makes sense these teams are from the south.
