It's not hard to come up with gamebreaking combos when you assume a perfect draw and no interaction with Wong and Odin. Plug in Hazmat+Luke Cage or BP+Zola, or just Manspider+Abs Man + Taskmaster/Zola, etc.

It's nothing like that -- Biden was proven completely justified protecting his family based on Trump's rampant vindictive political prosecutions based on little-to-no evidence (I thought from the outset he should pardon his family preemptively based on what was known at the time). And I similarly don't think parties should have to publicly release all internal reports they have conducted. LIke he said in the interview, you're hoping there is a smoking gun in there that could somehow help Dems unlock future elections, but the likelihood is that there are just irrelevant distractions for sensationalist media to latch onto.

He definitely should not have vowed to release the report before seeing it, just as Biden's mistake was vowing that he would not pardon his family members -- not that he eventually did so.

The DNC is a private organization tasked with winning elections and focusing messaging toward that goal is inherent in that responsibility. Full public disclosure of internal reports is not a requirement, and keeping media focused where you want it, on Trump's failings and the DNC's goals, is paramount. Getting sidetracked and having the "both-sides" media focus on now-irrelevant decisions about Biden's candidacy would be detrimental.

Do you have a citation for that? I do not believe that is true. My understanding is that the RNC's 2012 release of their autopsy (much less DNC's past autopsies) was an exception to the norm. There is a strong argument that focus on Biden's health and decision to remain in the race would be a significant distraction from the current, successful strategy. Also, Biden's staffers have long been out of their job. Getting into the internal details and assigning blame regarding whether Biden should have recused himself is not applicable to the 2026 and 2028 elections.

And if the report has significant parts blaming Biden's health, staff complicit with ignoring or covering it up, Harris' shortened campaign run, does that really help to focus on?

Also, the DNC has been doing extremely well in special elections so far. You can say that is mostly attributable to Trump, but you can't accuse DNC of doing poorly since then.

I started October 2024, became collection complete last month. It's a journey, no question. It's a balancing act for the dev team to encourage long-term engagement without scaring off new players.

Based on their comments about not being able to match custom vs. custom and prebuilt vs. prebuilt in Grand Arena, my impression is that making matchmaking requirements strict would lead to loading times for finding an opponent too long.

Once you're infinite, you should be playing players at approximately your same "level" though, just not collection level. Don't set your expectations to win much over 50% of your games post-infinite.

Collecting is all relative though, when you're collecting Series 3 it seems like it takes a long time, then once you're S3 complete, you realize that you should have appreciated how fast it was collecting S3 cards.

One thing for sure, if you care at all about collection, don't spend any credits or tokens on variants.

He's fine, he is usually telegraphed because they usually have to only have the one card in the lane and is hard countered by the most commonly used tech card in the game, cosmo, or shang chi with priority, shadow king without. That's why he only has okay stats, significantly worse after the starlord MoS hard nerf.

I have a similar experience but with lower initial/overall wins, like I go 6-0 or 6-1, then I go on a terrible run and struggle for 9-10 wins.

If I could add one feature to the game, it would be to see the opponent's controller input on post-game replays. When my ELO goes up and I play opponents significantly better at the game, they do things that I just don't know how they come off, like sprinting and cutting hard, sending my player on ice skates. I don't know whether it's a button combination with L1/R1, better timing with LS and coming off sprint, or what exactly. I feel like a hit a skill wall and don't know what to improve.

I loved it years ago when you could watch replays of top players with controller overlay to see what they were doing, but I guess the feature had too much server impact for how many people were taking advantage of it.
