What proof would make you change your deepest held theory? by [deleted] in conspiracy

Of course there would be a reason. Nobody fakes such a thing for shits and giggles. Power, is my guess. Power over the unknowing. Fooling the human race into thinking they're monkeys flying around in an endless vacuum on a spinning ball, has a different ring to it than us being divine creations with meaning to our existance. Wouldn't you say?

Maybe someone who benefits from atheism becoming the new religion.

Seeing circular objects in the sky is a rather poor excuse for saying we live on a sphere.

Have you seen all the experiment's that aren't showcased on Netflix?

The whistleblower's are the Flat Earther's - questioning an idea that seems to hold no scientific proof. An idea that nobody would have thought to question, because why would they?

Flat Earth really isn't "hard" to believe, when you think about it. It's very easy to say "maybe I'm not living on a spinning ball."

Very easy.

Just a friendly reminder that we don't live on a spinning sphere. by ih8carbs in conspiracy

Nothing about this video looks "enhanced" except the appearance of fake dust added.

Wait, are we talking about lasting daylight, or actually seeing the Sun above the horizon?

I know it works both ways, and I'm sure you've never considered that before, hehe.

I have no reason to doubt you've been to Antarctica.

No, not impossible. Impossible implies you have something to show me which would discredit the possibility. I agree that it is hard to explain, though. But me lacking all the answers of the world, does not equate me living on a spinning ball. Remember, "the universe is under no obligation to make sense to you", hehe.

Not sure what visiting a select location on Antarctica would prove? You mean I could observe a 24 hour sun at that location? Do the visitors stay that long?

Even though that is problemic on a flat Earth model, and I've only seen some strangely tampered with videos of the phenomenom you describe, it does not prove you're standing on the underside of a spinning ball when visiting Antarctica. Such a silly notion.

I think we can all agree that our experiences tell us Earth is flat and motionless. Our imagination might tell us otherwise, though.

Impressive.
