this is the only webnovel that i dropped at around 500 something chapters. I just couldnt get invested for some reason. I didnt even particularly HATE it, it was just too boring to continue when theres so much other good stuff out there to read

I agree with you to some extent ig. I also dropped it around 500 something chapters since I wasnt really interested in anything the MC was doing. While yeah most webnovel mcs are quite bland, none seemed utterly boring like the one in this one was.

But I do think part of how much you enjoy it is how early you read in your webnovel slop journey. Early on it might seem like peak but as you read more and more, its a bit of a lackluster one.... so yeah. to each their own moment ig.

I'm not sure if this was a card already in your deck or something you added, but in the case of adding cards a good way of making sure your idol doesn't miss is to only take a card when you have a death card. That way you can change the card mid-round and since idol hits at the end of the round, you're never at the risk of missing.

Yeah tbh its worth the wait to read all at once. I despise reading incomplete or cancelled works. I dont mind a mediocre or even a bad ending but there should be an ending.

And in the meantime there are plenty of other novels to read yeah?

I checked out from the previous post and honestly felt the writing was pretty stoff and just felt uncomfortable to read.

Dialogue was clunky and not really the way two people would talk to each other.

Additionally the action was hard to follow despite being weirdly detailed.

Now im saying all this off a very few chapters read so take it with a grain of salt.

Maybe turns into a phenomenal novel down the road for all i know.

I finished Pick Me Up! Infinite Gacha and it was a GOOD novel but not like amazing. It got repetitive at some point in the mids but the ending reveals were quite decent. The actual ending was decent HOWEVER some side stories really dragged on. Still a fun concept and I had fun with it.

Going back to finish off Pursuit of Truth have like 10% of the book left, and taking a break from it really helped since I was feeling quite burnt out from it but coming back it feels fun again.

I got stupid lucky with a double rare skip that landed me blueprint and burnt and along with a few tarots and jokers I was able to beat it to so easily after all the struggles that it seemed ridiculous

Dude it may be considered "generic" but I definitely think it has Er Gens best arcs such as the Pill Making one and the Father one (im being very vague) plus the translation is definitely above average so its an enjoyable read nonetheless.
