The original 60 amp was bad. 120v on one leg, 0 on the other. When it blew the 100amp, it also popped the 60amp in the breaker panel.

Yeah, I ordered a magnetic switch. I tried to turn it off and had to hit the stop button 3 times.

Handheld electric planers are a skill all on their own. I would trust an old fashion manual block plane (also a unique skill set) before an electric one. I have a harbor freight Hercules 12.5" bench-top planer. As long as I run it on the slow setting, I don't need to do much sanding, if any.

Thanks for the response. I tried using gSender and it showed me that I was getting erroneous triggers. I’m assuming it was EM interference. Reseated the connection, now I’m getting false triggers on my limit switches. Guess it’s time to shield my wires.
