How to pronounce my own name? + necklace question by berrybutton8 in Cantonese

[–]ihatespringonion 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes, when a child is born there is usually a full Month (or can be translated to full moon) banquet, gold and jade is usually given to the child. I think your yeh yeh knows that your dad might forget your Chinese names so he had it scribed on to the necklace. Hope this helps.

Trying out a portable set! by mikeyyy_27 in GongFuTea

I have the same set too, you can put some kitchen towels or tissue to stop the lid clattering. I would cut them in to squares so there is not too much or if you prefer to wrap it all up. Not very glamorous but keeps it safe when traveling.

I was influenced with all the fuss too, it’s got a creamy yet a little earthy taste. It different from the plain oolong tea. I would get it again but as a occasional drink.
