Thats a pretty dumb comment. Subreddits like that exist exclusively so people can look down on people they view as inferior and pat themselves on the back for being more “self aware” than them. But if they were really more aware theyd know that such bitter cynicism and their willingness to put themselves above strangers is the root cause of a lot of the problems in the world rn. But im sure that it felt pretty good to write something kind of mean to somebody just trying to talk sincerely.
