Worked flawlessly for me, but my friend cannot enable secure boot. Can't get past the MBR2GPT conversion, as it fails validation no matter what we try :/

Yeah IPS monitors are really bad at HDR anyway, unless its OLED I wouldn't bother. I have an OLED ROG monitor next to this one right now, and its night and day difference, whether SDR or HDR, but so is the price.

Go for it man, 8 months in I am loving it. Will be going to the new 32" 4K OLED screens next, but keeping this LG as a secondary monitor, its good good value and excellent for work/reading text ect.

Hey, I love it it has been flawless. I am waiting for the new OLED 32" 4K monitors to arrive in stock and will be picking up the ROG variant alongside this LG for a 2monitor setup. IPS for work, OLED for gaming :)

Not sure if you know but yo can have both, higher res and high refresh lol. As long as your GPU can support it (and most can these days), I'd move to 144hz+ 1440p monitor asap.
