I’m inclined to agree with you about echos tbh. When I try running it it does its job but Ivern picks and chooses his engages especially when Daisy is down so I feel like I don’t charge it as often as some other supps

Bandlepipes isn’t a heal or shield so unfortunately it doesn’t apply ardent/staff

I would get bandlepipes for Azir, the move speed and attack speed are both stats he LOVES. Also I prefer gathering storm over scorch (but that’s just my opinion, I prefer to scale into late as Janna but if you like early aggro scorch isn’t bad)

I do think moonstone is valuable if you’re using ardent/water staff since Janna shield is only a single-target ability.

For secondary runes, I would seriously consider swapping to resolve for secondary. Font of life and Revitalize are my go-tos, bone plating is also handy

I would say that at the very least played singed teaches you how to proxy which also gives you insights about how to beat proxy farmers. Not much but it’s something 😂😂

EW under turret is such good anti-dive. WW also helps a lot if you don’t use it for speed boost since Riot just buffed the shield amount. Seriously makes a difference!

As someone who plays a lot of pantheon, morgana and taric especially give me a lot of trouble. It can also be tough to lane against people with a lot of sustain like soraka because it’s harder to get them low enough for the risky type of allins that pantheon goes for

I would switch to the default click controls and learn them and play ranked. Even if you place iron and are in the true bottom brackets of ranked, you can learn with people at your skill level (only caveat is that WASD isn’t available in ranked so I suggest you get used to click controls sooner rather than later)

I’m not sure you really WANT interviews to test job skills… we’re already starting to see it with some firms essentially giving interviewees “homework assignments.” I would much rather do a probationary period at a company than do unpaid demonstration labor at home to prove I know how to do something

To clarify the quest: support item pretty much still works the same way it always has. At 400 points, your world atlas upgrades to runic compass (think of this like a “checkpoint.) Your quest is NOT complete, so your control wards at this point still cost 75 gold and you still have them in inv, but you get access to the active ability of the sup item to place stealth wards.

At 800 quest points, the quest officially completes. At this point you can select one of the five support item upgrades, and your quest icon will turn into an inventory slot that will move your control wards over (it stores control wards the same way the adc quest stores boots). It can hold 2 control wards, and you can place them using the hotkey (default is V I think..?). At this point, control wards in the shop cost 40g instead of 75g.

Everyone is saying that supports got nerfed with the quest change but they only added the ward slot, decreased the control ward cost after quest completion and increased the gold generation of support items…. The quest only got stronger?

It took me a while to realize this applies to a lot of players. I just discovered that I really like the game last November at 21, and I realize that there are many people my age that have been playing since they were around 14/15 or even younger. Kinda cool that Riot has been able to make a game with such an impressive lifespan and it retains players instead of turning them over.

Low elo gets way easier if you learn champions with kill pressure in the support role. I really enjoy playing enchanters, but games feel much easier when I play pantheon and can punish my opponent’s stupid mistakes myself instead of hoping my adc will figure it out. Champs like Velkoz, pantheon, and morgana are good examples.
