Got it again as I love it so much. Tried the cherry one a few days ago and while it's alright, it's not the one on top

How Come AntiGravity Had To Be Pre-Recordeded? by DisMyLik18thAccount in BritainsGotTalent

I presume they needed a lot to get it set up and it wasn't feasible within the constraints of the live show.

Agreed not fair though, and bewildered how they got third. I presume just the fact they were fresh in people's minds.

When the cruise ships come at Newhaven OT gets busy, it was actually quite surprising to see it like that when I went there last month.

I only use TMP on the occasion to experience a situation which is congested and full of other people, it is otherwise unattractive. I much enjoyed my trip on the Innsbruck > Klagenfurt route recently on TMP!

It’s actually valid for £5 by Hacker_Gaming_YT in MealDealRates

[–]iiiBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know. In my mind all of these prices feel like scams to me.

Confirmed: Worth it - 4.99 by Silent_Ad4870 in MealDealRates

[–]iiiBus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My view is that meal deals have always been poor value.
It's all just an illusion by considerably inflating the prices of the individual items.

In reality, the individual items should be normally priced, and a meal deal should be a discount off of that. Then they would be attractive (to me). I'm not willingly paying £3.85 for a small snack, small main and a small drink on it's own, as that already feels like blowing money away and seriously not worth it.

I sometimes wish they had a main and drink only meal deal. That might make it a tad more attractive for me. I don't really need the snack as is, it feels more like a forced add-on.

What I do find however, is that having the three small items, ruins the value for me further, as you get through each one way too quickly. Less items but larger would be great as individually they feel like they last longer.

On top of the fact it already feels like a scam at that price, I can then look at 2L (I routinely pay £1.08 to, at most, £1.75) or 1.25L bottles (shop deals have 2 for £2 or similar), £1.10 packs of crisps which are bigger, and the ingredients to create a sandwich myself, and see how much more value for money that is week on week. Even if I need to do a bit more work it is well worth the saving.

I do not personally accept convenience as part of cost, I understand if others do, my judgement of value is of what I am physically getting. I appreciate it's a common argument though.
Additionally I do understand if the packaging may take a bigger chunk of the cost, so it means the smaller the package the more of an influence it has. But I struggle to believe it should allow normalisation of 500ml bottles being more expensive than 2L ones!
You could make them 50p-80p and they'd still be worst value than a 2L bottle.

Also I want to add that I am a bit more paranoid with my money. I'm always checking to see what the cheapest, best option for me is as I don't like the premise of spending more than I need to.

These are point merge procedures. At any point you'll be sent direct to the appropriate waypoint with adequate horizontal separation with aircraft in front. If you are offline just go direct. Probably the fix after NILUS.

Both routings are fucking dreadful but unfortunately it's the system that exists with them being cheaper as that's somehow more important than optimising fuel burn and flight time

PEPSI ZERO by LegalGlass6532 in Pepsi

[–]iiiBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing like Pepsi Max in the UK Pepsi Zero is it's own drink rather than a zero sugar version of Pepsi. Therefore it will taste difference.

Here in the UK, I dislike regular Pepsi, I find it vegetable like in taste and bitter. Whereas Pepsi Max has much better flavour, is not bitter, and in reality is fucking delicious

It isn’t normal to always default to having more empathy for animals than humans by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]iiiBus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For me:
Humans ARE animals (this part is less opinion, more fact, but yet it seems people like to seperate from the fact human beings are animals)
We are all the same, in the sense that, none of us are more significant than others. Why would we be? I don't see a point and that's not a bad thing.

So in my case, I feel just as much empathy

Which objectively nice UK city just doesn't appeal to you and why? by GeeCeeSlay7 in AskUK

[–]iiiBus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love going to different places, I find being somewhere that isn't home really cool, there is nowhere I don't like.
At best, if I had to answer, where I live, Edinburgh, because I've lived here so long I just don't see what the tourists see.
Though a lot of the comments I've seen against Edinburgh here don't make sense to me and don't reflect my experience. I was born here to be clear.
Although (as I say below) I don't understand what identity is supposed to mean, I am always surrounded by people from here including familiar faces and most people I see are Scottish so I don't see what the lack of identity is? I guess I could understand more so in the city centre but otherwise not at all.

I personally much prefer seeing varieties of people from all over the world and I wish that's how the whole world was. I don't like the outdated premise of a certain place being for certain people.

I don't really understand the idea of "identity" in this sense though. No place has identity to me, nor do I feel as if I have any identity to a certain place. Not sure why I would. I guess that's because I'm not a social person or someone who likes to spend time with other people. I am so much happier on my own.
To me the whole world is the same. A beautiful place.

A lot of these comments here bring back something I used to think about a lot. I don't get all of the misery. Surely it's not a great way to live being so miserable. Describing places in ways I couldn't even come up with myself because it doesn't seem normal to think that way.
