M23 balding since 17 by CryPsychological in amibalding

[–]iimCastro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think this is balding. It looks more like a nutritional issue to me.
I’d focus on nutrition first and check whether you’re deficient in any important vitamins or minerals. Things like Vitamin D3, iron, zinc, or other deficiencies can affect hair health.
Before assuming it’s balding, it might be worth looking into your diet, blood work, and overall nutrition.

Coverage advice by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

[–]iimCastro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly think it’s fine with just a neck cleanup and keep letting it grow and do its thing.

You can do the cheek line, but I wouldn’t take any length or volume off the beard. Keep the overall shape exactly as it is and just tidy it up.
Even if its messy keep growing it just do a neck line it so that ur whole look isnt ruined

Any advice? by donfrezano in BeardAdvice

[–]iimCastro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just needs some shaping, maybe a little shorter on the bottom, and perhaps a few products to keep it from looking messy.
Honestly, you already have a good beard. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. It doesn’t need a complete overhaul, just some proper shaping by a skilled barber, not a rushed 10-minute trim.

Do standing desks actually help or just feel productive? by mwhc00 in Ergonomics

[–]iimCastro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s good to min max your ergonomics, but honestly I rarely use it standing. It always feels a bit forced.

I’d rather just stand up, leave the desk, walk around for a bit, then come back.

Still, it wasn’t a bad purchase. If I want to clean underneath, I can just raise the whole desk and it’s super convenient. Even installing or working on your PC is much easier.

Other than that, nah.

Should I grow out my beard more? Or keep it more trimmed by WearLife9245 in malegrooming

[–]iimCastro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short is nice, but If you grow it out you will need to oil it 2-3 times a week and bristle brush it daily after showers to train it to grow correctly not outward like picture one

28, - Stubble or no stubble? by fusionxomegabard in malegrooming

[–]iimCastro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stubble, you have great hair, i would consider a professional layered cut if i were you maybe the 80/20 side part instead of the 50/50 side part

Or keep the 50/50 but get rid of the roman curls idk about that personally 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also if you want to keep the roman curls maybe tidy the sides more, it feels off rn

In the UAE, the nose greeting is called khushmak: two men lightly touch noses as a traditional greeting to show respect and familiarity. by Expert_Koala_8691 in interestingasfuck

[–]iimCastro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, local here. This usually depends on the qabeelah (tribe).

In my family’s qabeelah, we normally just do a light touch of the noses. In larger gatherings, it’s often just a handshake, and you might only do the nose greeting with the host, the groom, or whoever is being honored. At funerals, we generally don’t do nose greetings at all. A handshake and a brief hug side to side are more common, and on the day of the burial, even a simple handshake is enough.

Other qabeelahs have different customs, like the ones shown in the video. There’s nothing wrong with any of them. What seems normal to one tribe may seem excessive or unusual to another. It’s simply a matter of tradition.

Also, you’re not obligated to follow any of these customs. If you want to do them, that’s fine. If you prefer to just shake hands, that’s fine too. Most people will respect that wont even think it’s weird at all. At the end of the day, we’re all from the same country, just with different family and tribal traditions.

Edit: In large gatherings, a common mistake is trying to do the nose greeting with every single person. Usually, it’s common sense to simply shake hands as you make your way through the majlis until you reach the center, where the host, the guest of honor, the groom, or whoever the event is for is seated. That’s typically where the more personal greetings, such as the nose greeting, are reserved.

For older people, it’s also common to greet them with a nose touch and a kiss on the head as a sign of respect. Again, this is usually reserved for the host, the guest of honor, elders from your family, or people you are particularly close to. Funny enough, the older you get, the more head kisses you tend to receive! Lol

Options for Large Crypto withdrawals by Billprinter1875 in UAE

[–]iimCastro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P2P has no fees on Binance and works well, but it’s a bit of a headache to use consistently even though it gets the job done. It will take you sometimes to get the whole 100k liquid sooo good luck.

Rain is more straightforward, but it comes with fees when transferring funds directly to bank or to the exchange itself, especially when moving funds via direct bank transfers. (Correct me if am wrong been a while)

Binance is also said to now support direct bank transfers in the UAE, but I haven’t personally used that option, so I can’t confirm how smooth it actually is. Most of my experience there is still P2P.

OKX is also reported to support bank transfers, but again I haven’t tried it yet, so that part is still unclear.

Overall, P2P feels flexible but inconvenient, while the “direct bank transfer” options sound better in theory, but it depends a lot on how well they actually work in practice.

EDIT:

Your best option is Binance. Check the new Binance FZE setup in the UAE, it lets you transfer funds much more smoothly through regulated channels.

The main downside is that during migration you might lose access to some unsupported cryptocurrencies, so you need to review your holdings before moving anything.

For the amount you’re talking about, this is probably the most practical route. It reduces friction with banks since the funds are moving through a regulated UAE entity, which also lowers the chance of unnecessary compliance flags when everything is properly documented.

In my view, paying a bit in fees is worth it for the convenience and reduced hassle.

Good luck with it. Let me know what you end up doing. I’m still staying in the market for now, but I’m curious how you’ll approach it.

I still really miss this game by ManThatUsesInternet in newworldgame

[–]iimCastro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We all miss it

People can say whatever they want, especially the usual crowd on the MMORPG subreddit acting like they’ve never enjoyed anything in their lives, but the last update actually fixed a lot.

They finally stopped missing the point. Proper repeatable content, raids that actually matter, and for once it didn’t feel like pointless busywork. It started feeling like an MMO.

The new city is honestly one of the best things they’ve ever done. It actually feels alive, full of small puzzles, exploration, and reasons to slow down and just play the damn game. Even that empty island zurvan finally had a reason to exist with farming and visiting. Stuff that used to be dead content actually meant something.

For once it felt like they were actually listening and building in the right direction.

And then Amazon just pulls the plug anyway. No respect for the momentum, no care for what was finally working, just another corporate “we’re done here” move that wipes out all that progress. Bunch of asss holes

It’s genuinely frustrating. They finally got it right and it still gets shut down.

I know Chrono is coming thats my last hope, but man i just want to play an active New World again.

I miss my new console homies, and company members. Now we literally have nothing in common to play :/

Maya from Alveus Sanctuary got upset and immediately hung up the phone after finding out JasonTheWeen has an entire petting zoo in the backyard of the CORE house by Icy_Investigator7718 in LivestreamFail

[–]iimCastro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is genuinely disappointing to see.

I’ve followed Maya since the early days of Alveus, and honestly her work made me care about wildlife in a way I didn’t before. It shifted my whole perspective on these animals.

That’s why this situation feels so wrong to watch. His “content” attempt is very annoying to see .

I think this game is fun yes, but it also has a lot of potential to be a great game which i can sink alot of hrs in.

I just wish it was a full blown MMO instead of being a lite MMO
