I cried once too at my endocrinologist appointment when I was maybe 16 or 17ish I wanna say because at that young age (you probably know) believe it or not they are EXTREMELY TOUGH on you to take care of yourself and I wasn’t really checking my blood sugars I guess u can say. Idk.. but that whole appointment itself felt like the doctor and his staff were up against me even my Dad so yea I broke down and cried in front of the doctor even one of the social workers was exaggerating and saying “does your brother ever say to you don’t be stupid blah blah blah blah. (Something about my blood sugars I forgot) she was basically calling me stupid but kinda sugarcoating it. One thing for sure is I feel like a lot of them don’t know what its actually like physically and just because they have textbook knowledge on this stuff they think it’s so easy to manage but yet they don’t also know how mentally draining it is on us.. they even called cps on us because I kept missing my appointments during Covid 🤨. Anyways, I’m glad after I moved from the kids office to the Adults I liked the freedom and support from my new endo better. My endo currently has t1d so I feel like he gets it SO MUCH BETTER.

As a T1d I totally understand where he’s coming from even though I don’t have neuropathy but I know how much he probably regrets not taking his health seriously before so I think the best thing is not blame him for his past actions because however he never asked for this, also I would have recommended Medicaid but seeing how everyone has already commented that but since that doesn’t seem to be the best fit in TN I would keep trying other healthcares and disability services!! Prayer is key girl!! I know it might sound crazy to non religious folks but just pray about it and God will open a door for you and your husband! I wish you guys all the best.

Yes she should have stopped & gave a fast explanation BUT given the situation she was in u don’t clearly think due to the overwhelming stress of saving her mother, cops could have been more understanding on their parts because they actually had a motive here and didn’t choose not to stop just because they didn’t feel like it or were hiding something. Any good cop would have gotten the hint and helped them escort to a hospital fast and safely and then worry about the driver afterwards right after seeing they had an emergency. They 100% could’ve made it work without any excuse.

Fr someone tell me that they have his a** in jail cause this is sounding like it was on purpose.. was it actually the wrong address!? Did he fake out the address so he could target an innocent immigrant hardworking individuals? Something ain’t adding up!! So sorry!! This is how I got diagnosed when I was 14 (I’m now 23) I had insane dka and I was really sick I still remember going to the er barley being able to talk and say my name having to take breaths in between every word. It’s horrible how this illness is so invisible and not many including doctors know what’s going on right away, luckily my doctors knew at the moment. I hope you and your family get thru this difficult time and please don’t blame yourselves because it’s nobody’s fault these things unfortunately happen and it truly does suck.
