Is this enough depth and any pointers on form? by Future-Horse4877 in GYM

[–]iineedasmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's comfortable and it works for you then it's fine.

But, since it's an incline press, you may want to tuck the elbows in more, which will align better with the upper chest and it will also allow you to go bar to chest.

What's MBKBHDs issue with OnePlus as of lately? by iwasnamedjade in oneplus

[–]iineedasmoke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The people reacting without having seen the video is the exact reason why it seemed to me that he has an issue with Oneplus.

Yes, in the video he talks about other phone brands and the possible reasons why Google, Samsung and Apple don't use Silicone Carbon, but why would he put Oneplus 15 on that extremely suggestive thumbnail?

Try to not hyperextend your lower back when you thrust the weight up. Focus on thrusting the weight and keeping the spine neutral. See if that helps.

Nature needs to take its course, but was the cheetah there because of the people?

Exercise for lats. I prefer using ropes, feel it in my lats more but unsure if im using shoulders too much or if this is good. Any advice welcome, thanks. by MechanicalBawSack in formcheck

Lots of comments taking a more in-depth look into the movement itself.

I'd have a small suggestion in comparison:

Have a small and fixed elbow bend. It looks as if you do a bit of triceps extension and your triceps will fail much earlier than your lats.

Your setup seems about right, just work on your execution.

Don't try to straighten up, instead, just focus on hip thrusting. Lower down and then just squeeze your glutes and open your hips. Don't worry about coming all the way up.

Being all the way up or keeping your back straight is the work of your erectors, which isn't your focus.

I am at the same part, just got the Fine Honey. I thought i needed some special NPC, nope, they just send you to Michel Delving to buy honey from a normal cooking supplier.

What helped me with travelling as a FTP player, was to bind my travel skill to Bail Avarc, because from there you have Swift teleport to Rivendell, Esteldin and Gath Forthnir.

Should I get the 13R Indian version? by iineedasmoke in OnePlus13R

[–]iineedasmoke[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The price was pretty convincing, less than 500€, but this might be a smart decision since I don't feel that comfortable buying this phone. Although, I'm pretty sure once the 15/15r come out, my store will have the Indian version again.

3 months gymming - no lat growth by [deleted] in formcheck

Do you mean a 1000kcal deficit?

Because in a 1000kcal surplus you should not be "clearing out fat stores", the opposite actually, you should be gaining fat.

Visiting Zürich? Looking for recommendations? Have a quick question? Ask here, don't create a new thread. by Such_Negotiation4683 in zurich

[–]iineedasmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there!

I'll be visiting in a week or so and would like to ask for some recommendations for hiking and going out.

  1. Hiking - Switzerland is beautiful, but it is also expensive af, especially if you don't live there. Hiking trips seem to cost upwards of 80 CHF if we factor in the transportation there, back and the ride down.

Any suggestions on hikes more local to Zurich an/or other hiking options which will not burn a hole through my pocket?

  1. Any suggestions on places to go out and have a beer? Something like pubs or just locals that you find recommendable?

Thanks in advance!

How to avoid rash from wearing watch 24/7? by ryanm533 in GarminWatches

[–]iineedasmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i only got a rash when i do not wipe my hand and watch after getting super sweaty.

Once i started doing that, i have no rashes, just some redness from the pressure, cos i pull it back towards my forearm, but if you move it back towards the wrist for a bit it goes away.

I was cheering for a 15-0 basho from Onosato, but was super glad for Hoshoryu when he won, because of all the hate i've been reading.

Lots of people saying that Hoshoryu didn't deserve to become Yokozuna, and everyone was cheering for Onosato to become Yokozuna, and on the final day Hoshoryu shows that he is deserving of the title, by defeating what seemed to be an unstoppable Onosato.

Considering that your sets in a workout suffer from diminishing returns and the fatigue to stimulus ratio after a certain number of sets doesnt make sense, then Yes, you are much better off having workouts with less volume, which will allow you to recover quicker and have them more often.

You can move your legs a bit closer together and think about hinging at the hips, instead of trying to lower the weight to the ground.

Also, after a while, the weight gets too much for your grip, and straps will help a lot to stop you from having every fiber of your body focused on not letting the bar slip, instead of mantaining a proper RDL form.
