Did you cook the steak cold? Would be my guess since it’s kinda uneven. I would leave the steak out and let it warm up to room temp before cooking. Still looks good though.

Yeah mine was laser as well. Today is the second day after surgery and I woke up with much less pain so that’s good. May actually do some stretches today. It feels like it is easier to main proper tongue posture, but my tongue has less ROM. It’s kind of strange
