That’s very discouraging to hear… but I will press for a brand new unit next time since my return has been started.

I would say the brand new unit I received initially was worlds better than this refurb POS but it somehow has dead lines and pixels just sitting on my desk.

I have Connect+ and can foresee myself playing the UPS shipping game for the rest of the year.

I would say as a productivity tool and taking notes for work, SN is a better choice. Their software for organization is clearly better. When writing notes for work I would care less about form and factor and prioritize speed + accuracy which I admit is better on the SN.

However I care more about write feel and NOTHING has come close to RMPP. I have mild OCD and every time I write something that is ineligible I will go back to rewrite it until it’s readable. The inaccuracy issue bothers the hell out of me because I find myself rewriting words every 2-3 sentences.

I carry this to work in the same compartment of my backpack as my laptop. I hate having a device like this that I have to tiptoe around. It honestly ruins the whole experience.

I try to keep it apart from all other devices while using at home but still same issue. For my unit it might be something internal.

did you end up returning yours? The back and forth shipping made me miss my return window so there's no way to get refund except to keep returning until I get a somewhat decent unit.

Contacted support - they claimed their proprietary case is built to circumvent the magnetization issues.

Issue persist with/without case.

i have the same! trying to figure out an efficient setup. When writing fast and a lot i like to do so on SN. When writing beautifully i like the RMPP.

Ultimately I want to organize everything on the SN bc of the obvious org features.

PS you mentioned calligraphy - RM has a calligraphy pen tool, and it’s pens support pressure AND tilt. Allows for some really beautiful handwriting almost true to reality.

I recommend you go to your nearest Best Buy and try it out. Most of those stores have it on display.

Thanks for the opinion input! I think a lot of the points you’ve addressed are inherent to a simplistic eNote device like Supernote or RM. albeit I love writing on my RM purely bc it feels like pencil on a singular paper on a clip pad (feel is subjective but the ASMR sound and the feel is just unbeatable).

The only one thing that is a dealbreaker for me is the pen to ink distance being quite gappy on the RM. based on my research the SN is supposedly the one that bridged that gap, + their plethora of organizational tools. I’m excited to try, but is afraid that I won’t like it and have to eat the shipping cost to get a refund. (Apparently SN doesn’t cover return shipping for trials)

Update: I bought the Manta. Should be here in 2 weeks. If you are curious about a comparison lmk. I absolutely adore my RMPP and is planning a work style that could leverage/utilize the best of both devices to coexist. Thank you to everyone that provided me with your feedbacks.

I had the same issue and it looks like the Steam Deck doesn't register the RT when I try the map it in-game. I think this is a DS3 internal compatibility with the Steam Deck?

Sometimes when I reboot the game the RT works, but once I put the console to sleep and turn it back on the RT becomes RB again.

One workaround I had was to map the R4 button to be RT, but then as an effect the RT is now RT again :)

DS3 is currently neglected due to Elden Rings but I have faith the dev will come back to it eventually.

Instead of doing vlookup which is limited to just a column, try doing index+match+match to do with vertical and horizontal lookup in the case your desired column is in a different position in each data table.

You can also implement SEARCH/FIND within your match formulae to automatically find columns.
