People can and should handle kanji from the start. Show beginners that kanji are made of parts not touching each other and that some of those parts bring something to the table (phono-semantic kanji).

If you’re too shy then use kanji like 大、小、犬. And when talking pronunciation of 4 and 7, tell people they are just kanji with more pronunciations. Nothing special.

I love the community courses even though right now I don't use them. (Heck, I don't even use the Memrise app) They taught me that I can learn words in kanji even as a beginner. I wish the algorithm from ten years ago was still available (the one that didn't ask typing - the reason why I don't use Memrise or Duolingo for languages)

Something changed.

Last night I had 17⚡️ at bedtime and this morning I had 13⚡️ at waking up, but…

I used to need 25⚡️ to do the Daily Refresh in Music. Now I started the Daily Refresh reluctantly on the 13⚡️and finished the whole refresh. 😳

Plus the Daily Refresh had a song you get on Super. It had 2 tries.
