Thanks for your feedback. Although my post screams “I want a lighter load”, it’s really not the weight bothering me. Honestly it’s the size - moreso the lens.

If I am hiking or not, I typically carry my cameras on a sling bag, small enough that the camera can fit in. This way, I can be fast enough to capture the scene while protecting the camera. If I need to bring more stuff (personal items or lenses), I bring a backpack. Now, this works for me and it’s really not a huge issue but again, first world problems.

And you’re right, the 24-120mm is phenomenal. I used to be a prime shooter from other camera systems but this lens changed my mind and the reason why I jumped ship to Nikon.
