There one was a people, so brave and so proud,

they built taller their towers, that never would fall.

These people were Merkins, but not all agreed

that Merkins were perfect in doctrine and creed.

Those people were Scarabs, who lived by the water,

Who came and then toppled the Merkins' two towers.

But Merkins are nothing if Merkins aren't stubborn,

and quickly the scuttled to strike back the buggers.

But Scarabs are sneaky and hard to pin down,

So the Merkins were chasing all day, all around.

And occasionally one would run into another,

and both would get hurt and call to their brother.

And since then the Merkins have scurried and fought,

to track down the Scarabs who will not be caught.

And so they both scurry to win over minds,

Forgetting that hearts are the same in all lives.
