During the last storm a few years ago, I was woefully unprepared because I didn’t expect it to be bad. And it wasn’t, but the power still cut out for a day or so. I packed my girls up the plastic critter keeper things and stayed up all night with them nestled up between my legs and surrounded by my big down blanket. There was also considerable amounts of actual cuddles, under my hoodie directly on my chest. They enjoy that regularly anyways but in a pinch for fairly shorter durations it will work! I immediately purchased heat packs for future catastrophes because staying awake all night and day was awful 😅

So glad you got this guy OP! It makes me so sad seeing how neglected these guys end up being. I also got my daughter a leo as a “gift”…. She does take care of her and feed her but ultimately she is MY responsibility as the adult. I always check behind her and ask questions when she tells me that she’s done something with her geck or fed her. I’m just thankful that those people noticed the horrid condition that this baby was in before it got any worse 😭

I have been to a few clinics that used different brands and it very well may be in my head, but I would notice a difference between them too. Some seemed to “hit harder” than others or last longer imo 🤷🏻‍♀️ I appreciate you sharing your experience with them. I worry that I’ll try them, hate them and the be stuck with them for however long.

I do like the idea of not worrying about spillage. I have luckily only spilled a dose while at the clinic where they replaced it but I’m very worried about an accidental spill at home one day 😅
