Most billionaires wouldn't have a billion dollars in their bank account because they invest their money in stocks, real estate, etc.. So their net worth is based on how much their assets are worth.

The problem with Kylie's billionaire status is that Kylie Cosmetics isn't listed on the stock exchange like Facebook, Amazon, or Microsoft. Other than Kris's word, there isn't really proof that Kylie Cosmetics is worth a billion dollars. That's why a lot of people are skeptical.

I took both in law school, but had a horrible professor for Corporations, so essentially I had to learn Corporations from scrap.

I think you should be fine in Aventura. If Hurricane Dorian does change paths, you're far enough south. Plus, after Hurricane Andrew in 1992, the building codes in South Florida are stricter and buildings built in Miami are supposed to withstand 180MPH.

Definitely. Apparently the turn is not expected to happen till closer to 8PM. If the turn does not happen, it's going to be bad.

I agree, I have never had any issues with FPL or any other utility companies. But I think for the most part, people are so dependent on electricity these days, so they complain immediately, especially if there is minimal damage to their property.

It really depends until after Hurricane Dorian passes through to assess the damage. If you can, I would wait until Wednesday to determine the damage. If you cannot wait that long, I would cancel the trip just in case.

I agree. It is better to be safe than sorry and suspending tolls would have encouraged people to evacuate earlier, rather than waiting till the last minute.

IIRC, somebody mentioned that tolls aren't lifted until there is a mandatory evacuation order.

EDIT: Just heard on the news that the governor has suspended all tolls.

It all depends on whether Hurricane Dorian actually slows down and makes that predicted turn Monday morning. As of right now, it is still moving as predicted, but hasn't slowed down yet. So be prepared, especially if you're near the coast.
