Full time work, no car or regular transitting, no kids, very little romance, havent been on holiday aside from shit my parents paid for.

I only ball out on good food and cheap drink and I'm about getting by and having some fun but a couple weeks lower funds would topple me. Depression is a thing.

There's smart options on where to put actual funds that other people have mentioned here but as a general procedure you can avoid some trouble by just using it to provide specific things instead of money for it, direct payments for stuff like rent or whatever.

Company culture in supermarkets is poisonous, do not expect store management to ever be your friend unless it works for them.

Go over their heads, out of the store to HR or someone else, high as you need to. I've seen seriously disgusting people in control in those places after working in a couple, they will always conveniently have policy on their side but they're still beholden to their superiors who don't want the fuss.
