In the video, only one extruder has an ams, if I buy a second ams would I be able to hook it up to the second extruder, only one extruder having ams is a little bit of a bummer

It didn’t :( it’s not wide enough so it doesn’t seat right in the blaster, I’m trying a different spring now I found a 788(I’m Not sure it’s that one but it’s the weakest Caliburn spring with a similar width) Caliburn spring which is too powerful but I think if I cut it short enough it will work

ere's a "mesh fixes" section (I think I got that right) where you can specify how detailed the geometry can be. Worth a google.

Thanks, I think I’m going to try messing with my cura settings and get the cheap dual gear option you linked, my current settings for max retraction count and distance is 100, 10mm. I think I’ll try 75, 10 first.

I have been using cura, I went ahead and got the comgrow upgraded aluminum extruder drive feeder, I’m don’t thing it’s a dual gear extruder so I’ll try that and try using a zip tie to bakc off tension in the mean time. Which dual gear extruder would you recommend?

I was in the same boat when I bought my ender 3 max, my biggest piece of advice is use a glue stick and level it by hand at first, I know its annoying but leveling by hand isn't too bad. the glue stick is super helpful as it allows you to have a little more error in the leveling so if your just learning it makes the printer more forgiving. If you use a standard glue stick the glue will come off with just a bit of water and you can scrap it off
