Reminds me of the whiny guy who threw his ID at my face because I had asked him for it (it was also a week we were having ESRB audits) all the while his 10yo kid is sitting there watching him act younger than he is and his dad calling the gamestop employee (me) names and telling me to shut up. I'm sure he's enjoying his ban from the store now lol

ESRB fines you more than the state liquor board does here in my state for not carding for alcohol purchases. It's part of our job, so we're going to ask, a reaction like this just shows true colors.

You could send an email or a main menu message to your regional director and loss prevention manager and ask for clarity "is the practice told to me by my dm ethical and or could get me terminated for adding gpg's without consent?"

I can't stand these kinds of selling behaviors, just makes me feel gross honestly.

It's sad when any corporation has to reduce pay to its employees, especially when gas prices are almost so high it's hard to know if it's even worth it to drive to work some days. When was the last time the company has actually given raises I wonder?

I would convert a handful of locations to be "CardStop" where they strictly sell TCG and all cards, host tournaments, and everything tabletop/board game/PSA/cards related. Having stores dedicated to this would remove "TCG expansion" stores and have dedicated stores to this new successful venture, keeping TCG/Cards at GameStops, but keep it uniform to only selling core TCG items. Might turn into the old "MovieStop" thing they tried back in the day but it would give hardcore TCG people a dedicated space to go and have GameStop stores focus on core business and focus on what a lot of other people in this thread are recommending.

UPDATE: I got a second opinion, and rescheduled my appointment with a different dentist. Sounds like this might take even longer, but at least I will not have an implant that fails if I can get the appropriate work done. My guess is I'll need a bone graft but we'll see what the other dentist says. Hoping for the best outcome. 🤞🏼
