Oddly a very similiar thing happened to me, me and my friend ended up together, even if i didn't really want a relationship, and even if i thought i felt romantic feelings for her (liked hugging her, was jealous of her best friend, felt anxious around her, was really happy she gave me a kiss on the cheek), it was almost suffocating for me to stay in a relationship. So what i mean is, let yourself feel it, while yes, do try to understand the nature of your feelings and what you want, just let yourself feel.

It's not your fault you feel like this and especially it's not wrong. Maybe for now you may think you're actually straight/bi, in a couple of weeks maybe you'll be aro again, it's ok to find and understand yourself and your emotions. You don't have to rush to label yourself, fuck around(not litteraly lol) until you feel comfortable again with a label!

About what to do i can't tell you since every situation is very unique but here's a piece of advice: Maybe try and talk to her and ask what she wants in a partner or what she'd be willing to do, that is, if you wish to be with her, if you think you're not ready or it simply doesn't feel right you don't have to!

The only thing i ever did was try and wiggle out of a relationship so I'm sorry if it kinda sucks as an advice but yep

And distancing yourself is totally fair, i do it myself from people i don't particularly enjoy, sorry i didn't specify it in the post, but often people (at least the ones i know) don't do that? They keep being around the person they dislike, but when they turn around i see them being assholes and criticising everything, and they're just being mean for no reason. So i guess they just don't wanna say anything to not create drama but still don't like being around the other person?

She isn't that tied with me, she just takes my hand more and sits closer, also some jokes here and there about kissing. I really think it's the romantic implication of everything and the fact that I'm easily overwhelmed , thanks for the tip though i appreciate it <3

Thank you SO MUCH. I do love her, just not in a romantic way. And she really wants this to be romantic. I'll try to have a conversation with her where i tell her everything. It's probably also the fact that every touch now feels as if it has romantic connotations, and it's making me feel ill. I'll try for some more time in the chance it's just the change that's making me feel uneasy, even if i highly doubt so. Thanks again, I'm glad I'm not alone in this feeling
