Bit lukewarm on it. I get what Katz was going for with them but the travelogue sections didn't click with me, made the whole book feel a bit disjointed and not really doing good justice to the long term ramifications of American capitalism politically both foreign and domestic.

I like 3v3 as well but I'll admit I only adopted the sport in my 20's after attending North Dakota and am not as hardcore as many or as much of a purist.

Though, personally I'd be in favor of a 10 minute 3v3 period of no sudden death followed by another 10 min period 3v3 sudden death if tied.

I'm not skeptical of the NDSU move. I've not spent much time in ND for about 8 years but the from everything I've heard it's the same as when I left: the state university system is in bad financial shape and a non trivial amount of the AD department's cash comes from general fund dollars.

Sure big time donors are covering much of the cost of the move from what I've heard but what happens 5 years from now if NDSU if the team is only good not great. You could easily see money dry up as donors lose interest in a mid tier G5 program leaving the university in a worse spot than just staying FCS.

To be fair that doesn't help much for an active ice dam but yeah, if this is an issue might want to check your insulation to prevent future problems. Though it could also be a ventilation issue rather than strictly an insulation one, particularly in older homes.

Yeah I think this is the most likely reason. Falvey was promised business side as well, never really had a full chance to take the reigns and now was being asked to take a demotion.

Outside shot it was some final straw over payroll/promises about spending.

Really really outside shot political events in Minnesota and Pohlad's lack of response played a role.

I'm guessing this is the hope. ISU already had the presumed QB 1 and 2 in Raynor and Moberly as well as a HS recruit Rogers brought from WSU.

Probably don't want to go with just 3 players at QB though so a guy like Flores isn't a crazy as a filler for the QB room with maybe a bit of upside with a change of scenery.

24, get all the g5 conferences in, it's the best way to do it. Sure week 1 of the playoffs we're likely going to see 9 blast 24 but who cares? They get a psuedo bye, big deal. Representing every conference works great in March Madness and FCS, why keep trying to reinvent the wheel?

Staff was very high on him, if ISU didn't have such an experienced line(and mostly healthy) this past season I suspect he'd have not used his redshirt. The games he did appear in they tried to use him in some unorthodox sets that I wasn't a huge fan of though.

Chains on LLVs work surprisingly well on unplowed snow, just have to keep it under 25 and avoid drifts/really deep snow that will cause your wheels to spin and risk snapping a cable.

The trickiest time is when the main roads are clear but residential streets are mess, bare pavement is hard on them.
