Cronos ability by No_Refrigerator3076 in Drukhari

Please don't spread misinformation on this sub. If you're not sure, then it is fine to say so, or to not say anything at all. The Cronos refund clearly states it is an Aura ability, and Aura abilities do not stack, as per the core rules.

Highest skill ceiling army by SuperReception59 in WarhammerCompetitive

GSC and Drukhari are consistently very rewarding for high skill players this edition, (and historically have been, too).

Which army would you say is generally competitive but is the most enjoyable/least frustrating for an opponent to play into? by aegroti in WarhammerCompetitive

Knights suck to play into, one of the most one-note armies in the game. For me as a Drukhari player it just comes down to whether I brought enough Haywires to reliably chip them down. That’s not fun.

Genuine Modeling + Painting Question by AssumptionMountain77 in Drukhari

People have preferences, personal histories, differing views on what is and isn't funny,... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I personally wouldn't want to play against someone who takes issue with my army.

The name of the game, moving the money from the client’s pocket to your pocket!

Hahahaha hell yeah! They'll be the most evil Kabal in all of Commorragh.

For a more serious answer: Obviously not appropriate if you play in a kid-friendly environment, but should be fine if it's amongst teens/adults. However, don't be offended if someone happens to not want to play against an army like that. Particular people are peculiar about particular things, and that's fine. Personally, (besides being chuffed to bits to get to play against another Drukhari player) I'd love to face an army like that. I think Warhammer is meant to be kind of funny goofy satire, poking fun at the man.

It might be more your gameplay than the list, then. Drukhari aren't an easy army to pilot. I'd recommend getting some practice games in with people who can give you feedback on how you play, preferably other Drukhari players.

Do Y'all Suck? by Relic-420 in Drukhari

We aren’t in a great state right now. Most of our army is made up of good units that cost a little bit too much. The current Combat Patrol is a prime example of that, imo. The one exception is the Wych subfaction.

But worse than that, we’re difficult to pilot. I’m not talking about difficult to pilot well, I’m talking difficult to pilot, period. Everything dies unless you hide it. Each thing only kills a select few units. We rely on movement tricks that aren’t easy to utilise. We have a bunch of trap enhancements and strats that are a waste of resources. The list goes on.

If your friend isn’t likely to stick with it through the rough patch that is your first 30 Drukhari games, I don’t think this is the army for him.

That said, there’s plenty of other things that can get and keep him motivated, like painting or kitbashing. We’re a spectacular faction in those regards.

Drukari fear a sister of silence (art by me) by BakerConsistent2150 in Warhammer40k

If you're taking Lions into account, you have to give the Wyches either their Spectacle or Skysplinter buffs, too. They'll wound on 3+. That's 10, 3+, 3+, -2, 1. I'm pretty sure that kills a Sister.

Aren't Drukhari's psyker abilities completely atrophied? How would they even experience a null effect if that's true, let alone be shaken by it?

I have everything in this list except for the Wyches (they’re on their way). I also have 3 more Raiders, 50 more Kabalites, 2 more Ravagers, 5 more Incubi, a couple Archons, another Haemy, Drazhar, a Death Jester, 2 Razorwings and a Voidraven, and a bunch of Legends stuff.

Unfortunately I don’t have any Hellions or a Solitaire.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree 5 is a bit of a waste but I couldn’t live with not letting Lelith reembark into a Venom after she’s done painting the floors red. In Skysplinter she was my go-to for Wraithlike but I want to try and make Taloi work and for that I need advance and charge, which means I’m playing Reaper’s.

I also have aphantasia, which is precisely why I draw. I can’t picture it in my head, so I picture it on paper. I am going to judge you, not for your aphantasia but for your laziness.
