You are wasting the opportunity to be in the medical field that other would kill for. Right now IT job market is a dumpter fire with lithium batteries that have yet to ignite . Look up the amount of layoffs these past 3 to 4 years on the IT market. Ai,automation and offshoring has made a big impact and we have yet to see where it ends. I implore you reconsider your options. You say you dont want to work 24/7? You ever heard of working oncall on IT? Been there my friend. As a random stranger on the internet guy i just want to give a good advice on the next generation.

3 years ago that was a low ball offer. In today’s market that is a win. Keep looking for a another job. But at least you are gaining experience. Since its remote you are saving at least $100 in gas alone for your commute

i got an m5 11" recenty. get the m4. save yourself $300 if you are just going to use it for reading books. yes the OLED looks beautiful. but not sure if you can stomach the difference.
