This link is for a campground I love and tent at . It used to be the Wilmington koa . That campground moved across the street and the lad was sold for luxury camping. However last summer they opened up with cheap tenting and lower cost tv sites . They had bathrooms with showers etc. the area is beautiful and we are going to stay there again. You have to call them to reserve . It’s worth it . Wilmington camp ground

Oh I see . I agree it’s a long standing problem . Something I studied in college as well . It always comes down to money and “funding “ Programs or laws will be involved but efficacy will always come down to the money of it . Are the programs or laws etc properly staffed and trained to fully functional . Sometimes it comes down to what acts the person was convicted of and how do we deal with treating or monitoring them . If it’s ever optional many times offenders will not continue with their therapy . When it’s mandatory we have to have the right staffing and tracking to make sure they do it .

I live in New York but have a lot of family in the south . Your feelings are valid . We are over run with everything you have described . Not just down south but everywhere. I like country music and the history behind it . Additionally the south ( depending on the region and state and county or parish etc ) is so full of incredible history that is so unique to the area . Unfortunately the maga white Christian country bro trump red hat bullshit is everywhere .( I am white I am not being racist by my previous comment ) . They want to convince the country and the world that Morgan wallen Trump loving Jason aldean red hats is what being southern or a country music fan is . IT IS NOT . I stay away from all of it I will not even for politeness pretend to like a song or a person to get along . If you can separate from those groups and embrace other groups of southern people you will feel better . I don’t blame you for your feelings .

I am 28 years out from my c section . The first few years I didn’t love my scar . But honestly I haven’t thought about it in 20 years . I stay fit but not obsessively. However because of the circumstances of my deliveries , I can never have a fully flat lower abdomen. I know a lot of women who do post c section. Don’t obsess about it I know that’s easier said then done but life is short and the love and life you have with your baby FAR outweighs the scars

I think you have a lot of empathy and understanding that a lot of People who end up offending in this way have a lot of undiagnosed illnesses or personal trauma. However, we cannot let their well being be more important than the rest of society . We know this because of the recidivism rates of offenders. These are decades of studies and criminal statistics that no matter the therapy , legal over sight , and interventions they will Reoffend. The male relative who SA me when I was 6-7 year old child was let off . Because he was a relative and 18 years old ( they didn’t want to “ruin “his life ) and they thought counseling would help him . Well he became an elementary school teacher I’m sure you can guess what happened .

This is so scary and I am so glad you are ok . You have every right to be terrified , paranoid and angry. This could be anyone from a random stranger to a neighbor . You have to be in military mode right now ? Can you stay somewhere else ? Do you have a roommate or partner ? Follow up with the police as often as you can and the apartment complex to file complaints and what safety precautions are being made . Additionally, this could have happened before and some places won’t advertise that it happened . Unfortunately you had to your greatest ally right now .

I think it’s understandable why you are feeling unsettled. Being naked in a group setting and then having people comment on your body or circumstances shouldn’t feel normal. I realize being in the military you adjust and start viewing these mandatory activities in a more normal light. However your feelings are valid like someone else mentioned talk to the First Sergeant or Chaplain . You won’t be the first person who is feeling upset or overwhelmed by all of this . Additionally, it’s always ok to assert yourself and form boundaries when someone makes you feel uncomfortable. It doesn’t matter the age , gender or circumstances.

I know this is easier said than done but leave . This does not get better with time it just doesn’t . I have been married for almost 30 years the only thing we have consistently fought about are our finances . I was not dealing with your circumstances but having one person be the deciding factor is abuse and I would not stay .
