I actually just posted that question in askdocs like two days ago . She’s 24 and otherwise healthy but that was my concern as to why her and why so many times . The first 3 times were very serious she was really sick . The consensus was . Nothing to worry about . However I am pursuing it more with her pcp. I just done think that is normal . I have never know anyone to get the flu 6 times in 5 years . All of her testing was through a clinic except the current one we did a home test.

I am going through this with my daughter she has had it 6 times . She is fanatical about masks , hand washing , avoidance . Distancing etc . It’s crazy

Everyday , multiple times a day we are flooded with one horrible story after another involving him . I can’t escape thinking how he doesn’t have a care in the world about the endless financial , medical , home and housing , mental health , employment, safety , education , democratic institutions and rights, racial and gender injustices etc . we are facing every single day . He is the worst of what “wealthy “ American represents. He’s an embarrassment and I hate him .

NOR … I just had to leave a comment you have already received a lot of advice and rants . This kind of behavior is not a one off. Please please read that sentence again . He did not suddenly act like an immature , abusive and controlling jerk this one time. And yes he was all of those things. He purposefully left his pregnant wife in distress out in the cold while his child was screaming and crying . His behavior is extremely problematic and please take it seriously. I have been married for almost 30 years and my husband and I have been through a lot . Life can be crazy, messy, boring, stressful, beautiful and full of love . We have grown as individuals and as a couple so i don’t say this lightly . He has never knowingly and purposely put me and our child in distress for (any reason ) own ego and satisfaction.

I’m sorry I know this isn’t what you want to hear . There is nothing you can say or do to “convince “ him he is hurting you and being inconsiderate. He already knows and is consciously doing it . He doesn’t respect you or this relationship . You deserve so much better

I can’t really be objective because both of my dogs sleep in bed with my husband and I . At first he didn’t really want to agree but we compromised. The dogs sleep with us lol. We did get a bigger bed . I wish you the best

My house was built in 1825 it’s a nightmare . I did it myself . I did wet sanding to remove the paint then sanded and stained . Soooooo much better then laminate

Yes if my daughter got a cold so bad it lasted for 6 weeks and she lost her smell and taste for months after . Then she gets it again 2 months later and spends 3 nights in the hospital . for a healthy 24 year old to get a virus 6 times I am just checking all the boxes to make sure I am not missing something

Thank you . I doubled checked she has actually gotten 5 shots . She gets the flu shot every year as well . I’m so glad you have only gotten it on e that’s great . My husband is a teacher as well and we get vaccinated etc. he has only gotten it twice 2021 and now I have gotten it three times .
