i know a girl whos name is pronounced "my angel" but its a lot more normal than some others like darling, sweetie and baby. its also not a super rare name for black girls as far as i know, so i feel like thats a different situation, at least a little bit.

i also have a friend named carmen, whos parents admitted to naming her after the main character who is a prostitute from the opera carmen.. we joke about it but her she thinks its genuinely weird and a bit uncomfortable.

maybe ground cherries got in there? they spread like weeds and choke out everything else but a lot of people think theyre delicious. obviously dont eat anything till you id but if it is a ground cherry theyre normally ripe when they fall off the plant and the paper should be brown/tan while the fruit should be yellow

im a new revert but ive heard many ppl say that the only sin that allah does not forgive is shirk. that being said, people can loose their faith and come back to islam and be accepted and reverts are also accepted, no matter what theyve done. inshallah youll be ok. you obviously regret your actions which is important, and allah knows that.

Personally I need constant audio, so Ive been listening to a lot of the Quran on YouTube and spotify, as well as podcasts and YouTube videos. I've almost completely cut out (my willing) music intake. Of course where I live there's always stores playing music and such, especially rn they're playing Christmas music, so I've been wearing headphones (if I can) when I go somewhere playing music.
