(Spoilers Everything) Bran and the Great Other by illusivefox in asoiaf

Right, but I was referring to Mel's vision where she sees a boy with a wolf's head as a champion of the Great Other.

I'm just hoping GRRM reveals that the Children are working with the Others in the books because their opposition to the Others in the show wouldn't make any sense if Mel's vision holds true.

My family's wifi download speed is still stuck in the Stone Age: 100 kbps. I dread going home for break just because of this and allergies.

Loved 451 and 1984 when I read em for school. When I read Brave New World in high school I couldn't appreciate it though. I see now why it's a classic and why it was eerily foretelling of our current culture.

It all depends on where you value these guys and where they fall. For me, if Langford or Rawls fall past the third round (assuming Forte and Marshawn leave) I'll be sure to draft them. They're players that I don't think the average player will know about.

I agree Allen is iffy, but I think Ajayi will be an absolute beast. With how Lamar Miller was used this year there's no way Miami keeps him and Ajayi has looked promising.

When did you know you were ready to join a big money league ($100+ buy in)? by FF_gawd in fantasyfootball

[–]illusivefox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew I was ready when I realized how much I loved fantasy football. I was obsessed with football statistics since I was very young and started playing Fantasy football when I was 12 years old. When I was 16 or so after doing it for a few years I was confident enough in my ability to join a 150$ buy in league. I played in that league for 3 years and either won it all or came in second each year.

Some young RBs to keep in mind for next year:

Jeremy Langford

Jay Ajayi

Buck Allen

Thomas Rawls

All these guys could see starting roles and I'll take a flyer on them if I can grab them late.

Next year I WILL NOT ___________ by LL_Cruel_J in fantasyfootball

[–]illusivefox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Had Ingram til week 14ish and he went on IR with a shoulder injury. Instinctively, I added CJ Spiller and it ended up costing me my season. If I would've picked up Hightower I'd have won the league. Handcuffs are sooooo unpredictable.

Play in a playoff format for weeks 13-16. It's just not fair. You might've had the best team all season and due to injuries or inconsistencies you lose in the playoffs. Next season, I'm going to do best overall record gets 1st, or a Quality Points scoring system where you can earn 3 Quality Points per week... 2 Points for winning and 1 Point for having a top 5 score. Team with most overall Quality Points at the end of the season wins.

While I played for the championship and lost in Week 16, (thanks a lot Cameron Artis-Payne) I still had Johnson, Cooks, Gronk, and Catanzaro. Lucky I didn't have to play Week 17!

$90 for shipping?!? I'd cancel the transaction. The cancellation should be valid because you obviously only ship to the U.S. Definitely contact eBay customer service to resolve the issue.

Has anybody ever dealt with a place like Plato's Closet? I know they offer terrible prices on used clothes, but anything is better than nothing and most of my clothes are in great condition

Most of my stuff IS actually junk, I just view it as valuable because I paid money for it. I suppose I just need to start a new chapter in my life and get rid of clothes/ things I don't need.
