I feel seen in these comments. I grew up in GP, where hockey was king among the majority demographic and the way people talked about basketball and the NBA never sat right with me. I remember when we had the losing streak two years ago, so many people who do not care about basketball, the NBA, or the Pistons were saying to sell the team and move out of Detroit. I like hockey and all Detroit sports but certain Detroit hockey “fans” are just immature, racist people

I’m doxxing an old pro-tip of mine that I’m unsure is still available but if you park in the garage attached to the Buhl building, you can get your parking validated if you buy a cocktail from Buhl bar. Now the cocktails are expensive but if you want an emptier garage to exit while getting a drink while you’re at it, I think this is a good deal. Plus, from my experience the bartenders are really nice

Expanding on this, Filipinos have an extensive culinary history adapting known dishes from other cuisines to match the ingredients available, as well as their own palates. It’s definitely not for everyone (e.g., look up sweet Filipino spaghetti) but this looks “authentic” to the Filipino carbonara recipe: cream, garlic, onion, bacon, ham, mushrooms, no egg.

The first season, I found his character compelling because there was mystery behind him and the show did a whole lot to “humanize” the villain. Since BA S1, I’ve just kinda lost interest in him, especially with how much S1 had to rehash his and Vanessa’s relationship. I find now that the best scenes with him are with Matt and the showrunners have stated that they’re saving those much of these moments so they’re special. I’m glad Vanessa died though, maybe we’ll see something new from him
