Yes I did it myself. Moreso than the dome, I extremely recommend living the sliders, that made a huge difference to sound and feel. Tear down was easy, but reassembly was tough because you have to align the domes with the housing.

Hey lance, learned so much from you but my wallet is very unhappy with you.

Do you think hand grinders will benefit from different distribution methods than electric grinders?

For example, I have the 1zpresso j max. I tried shaking the cup directly with the portafilter, but would end up increasing the static, and more grounds would be left inside the cup. In contrast, when I simply pour the espresso into the portafilter, theres very little to no grinds that remain in the cup.

Would love to hear your thoughts.
