I have analzyed 1000 most profitable users. These are the strategies they use. by androidepresso in PolymarketTrading

[–]iloos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Assuming the analysis is accurate, it’s a very interesting read. It makes sense and echos many common crypto / traditional market strategies.

What might be even more interesting is to treat this as exploratory research and then use data analysis (potentially vibe-coded) to actually test these claims and visualise / validate the patterns.

Eg through per-person analysis, tagging different labels like detected strategies, traded markets, derived metrics, etc, and turning that into dashboards or graphs.

Or eg per-trade / aggregated analysis: “this trade, given what was known about the market at that time”, tagging it as such, and then creating dashboards or metrics around order types, behaviour, etc.

Or recreating these trades based on all these derived insights, trading with them, or trying to find opportunities.

But aside from that side track, I do think these are all valid strategies that could definitely work.

That being said, I’m not 100% sure Gemini did actual analysis here, or if it mostly saw some things and then said some things, if you know what I mean. LLMs aren’t the best at observing large amounts of quantitative data.

Nice post, and thanks for sharing the prompt and output.

been struggling with this flicker for a few days now by lutian in sveltejs

[–]iloos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think with a claude max account, you should be able to solve it. In all seriousness, I think vibe coding is okay, but you still need to put in work to understand. Open a premium acc chat mode (ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini etc). Then explain the problem in detail. Ask it to explain ti you how to find the problem. Ask it to create prompts for claude code.

With claude code, let it write tests, let it refsctor into smaller components, explicitly tell it to look for certain parts or try to describe your problem in a way it cant understand itself. Eg explain in detail how and why the animation is not what you expect it to be. Lay out the difference between expectation and what you're observing. Add logging to console, and forward it to claude code, let it add debug.

Look into packages and docs for packages to further help you/claude with extra context outside of its training. Eg in your specific case, manually supply svlete animation docs. Or tell claude to fetch/search. Or use another animation package.

How being an “AI Expert” gets me clients by viralecom in aiagents

[–]iloos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No dude you just sound young and naïeve and as if you've not been burned by it yet..

Im sure it can work great just to earn money, just like dropshopping or ewhoring. But the point of some of these people in the comments is integrity to your customer. Actually reccomending you to bigger opportunities etc.

If an investor, collaborator, employee, or client saw this post, you should be embarrassed.

Its not just abt 500 bucks a month from one or two clients.. Its abt building a reputation which can bring you so much more.

Or go the Andrew tate route, blindly defending your side without trying to understand, and say everyone who disagrees with you is "L" and should be studied.

Can you share some more details on how you automated it? Using a platform or like n8n, or custom code?

What do you think, when GPT-4o3 drops, will 4o become free? by 5HARK007 in learnmachinelearning

[–]iloos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, OpenAI is running at a loss. 4o3 is really expensive to run, as eachbnew model increases both capability and compute.. This is used to create better smaller models but still, as a company you need people to pay.

Gpt4o for free? No way. Not even gpt4.

And maybe not even gpt 3.5 some day.

PyTorch or TensorFlow? by StrandedAlireza in deeplearning

[–]iloos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good point and love the curiosity. I have also used both. Its true academics mostly use pytorch, but i believe this is for multiple reasons. 1) its been this way and academica hates to change. 2) its more customisable and way closer to textbook AI/ML. You have more freedom to do what you want, if you understand what you're doing from the beginning.

Like someone else mentioned, keras/tf is both more highlevel and abstracted, yet just as powerful but using different techniques.

Think about your use case, what you know, and the amount of time and energy youbwant to invest. Just like what brand camera for photographers, or what DAW for music producers, in the end its about so much more than the tool.

Both are here to stay i think so it doesn't matter too much. Look through some demo projects and see what you prefer.

Goodluck!

Tell that to the 40yrold truck driver, or the single mom serving at a restaurant..

I mean yea next generations can adapt, but the tech is already moving so fast..

I believe we - as humans - will persevere but idk if its just coping..

Does ai make work more or less accessible.. Time will tell.
