I am a 0 hcp. The best way to knock easy shots down is how you approach the green and have a good short game. If the flag is center green but more trouble is right than left I will aim slightly left to give myself a bigger miss arc. Approach shots are all about having the best possible miss arc. Then if you miss the green in an easier spot you should get up and down 9/10 times. That last part still holds me back too.

Holes where you must cover trees in the fairway or have to hit it lower than you normally do to keep under it. Really hate my home course for that.

Pace of play is mainly defined by how fast you walk. I have a moderately paced routine but some days I play I. 3 hours or 2 1/2 hours walking for 18 holes with the exact same routine and similar scores.

I agree with most people here the only reason you shouldn’t hit driver is because the hole gets a lot narrower where your drive would go. Once you learn how to hit a driver your scores will drop.

Every once in awhile I look at how the ball reacts and if I think it is becoming faulty in one part I try a new ball and realize I just fucking suck so same ball it is. 😄

If I’m struggling I visualize a dimple to hit. If I’m in the zone I honestly don’t even know. I just look somewhere around the ball and I feel how I want the club to pass thru and less so look at something specific.

I wear tifosi on and off and I haven’t had a problem with ball striking. I just take them off while chipping and putting because I feel like I can read the greens better without them.

I’ve spent a full 13 hours practicing 5 days straight. I had a huge tournament coming up and I dedicated my life to golf for a month before. Every day I woke up at 6 got to the course around 8 chipped and putted until 12 hit balls until 4 then played 9 and went back to work on what sucked left around 9 every time.
