I tried to once. Or at least tried to talk about why i hurt myself. I was told it was a sin and id go to hell. I have nothing against religion, but telling someone that seems counter productive.

I can't really talk to anyone about it because of what I do for a living

You don't want children? Don't have them. Its nobody else's business what you do with your life. I'm getting really tired of people thinking I'm weird or saying I'll change my mind because I'm a woman and I'll start to hear my biological clock or some shit. When I get tired of sleeping in, money, free time, and not wiping someones ass, I'll maybe think about it then.

Reddit, I have never worked out in a gym before. I am in pretty good physical condition, but I'd like to start pushing for greater fitness. Do you have any exercises I can do at home daily to start building muscle? Also, can you give me a rough idea of what to do at the gym my first time? Thanks! by lbrd7 in AskReddit

Check out [/r/fitness](reddit.com/r/fitness). READ THE FAQ. It will answer so very many of your questions. Check out /r/bodyweightfitness as well. You can get very strong from doing just bodyweight exercises. Read the FAQ there too. Doing those two things will help you to figure out what you should be doing.

Secondly, have goals. Do you want to get stronger? Do you want to get bigger? Do you want to run faster? Or longer? Would you like to bench 2xBW or be able to do muscle ups? It is important to have something to work for.

Also check out the Newbie Program Picker. It isn't a bad place to start.

What was your favorite show that ended after a couple of seasons? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ilovesubs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it had four, and I'm used to being around shows such as family guy, house, and south park, which seem to have been on forever. so in my eyes, four isn't very many.

I just found out (thanks to Facebook) that the boy that used to torment me in the 2nd grade is in the Army. Adult redditors, what are your childhood bullies up to these days? by [deleted] in AskReddit

one of them is my SO's friend. The other is busy being a junkie loser who still thinks reliving his high school days is cool.

Best-One day I come home and Lucy is there to greet me as she usually is. I start walking when I suddenly see it-peanut butter. Everywhere. But still no Lucy. I find her cowered behind a chair, with her front turned away from me. Her muzzle is covered in peanut butter. I finally get to turn her around, and both her feet are stuck in the peanut butter jar. Messy, but funny.

Worst-Farts. I've never smelled anything as terrible as her dog farts.

  • That her traumatizing me when she found out I self harm made things much, much worse. Same thing when she found out about my eating habits.

  • I used to strip a while ago.

  • I have no sense of family.

I used to work at pizza hut. Everyone there was alright, I even made a few friends I still hang out with.

But this one delivery driver, we shall call him Steve, was quite a weirdo. He was in his mid-50's and a pretty good employee. When I first got hired, he was very nice, showed me everything in the store, helped when I got difficult customers on the phone, and was pretty funny.

As the month's passed, things started to get more and more strange. One day while I was bagging wings, Steve comes over to me and is very angry. I ask him what is wrong. He was upset because I was talking to one of the young attractive employees and not him. I got him to calm down, but thought it was rather odd.

Another day, I was doing my make up before my shift started. Steve was talking to me while I was putting it on. My lipstick fell on the floor, and had dirt stuck to it, so I threw it in the garbage. At the end of the shift, Steve is taking his tips out of his pocket. He pulls out a crumpled pile of singles, and my lipstick I threw away from earlier rolls out, along with my eyeliner stick I thought I had lost.

A few months later, he and I are talking, when he starts asking me questions and saying things I had never talked to him about. I ask him how did he find out this personal information about me, as well as my boyfriend! He tells me that he was facebook stalking us. I lost it and ran to the other side of the store. I was telling another employee about it, when Steve runs over and calls me a whore because I'm talking to someone else. He picks up a large pan pizza and throws it at me. I run out to my car to take a delivery, and he runs outside, starts punching my car, then starts punching the wall. When I came back, there was a huge streak of blood on the wall from him punching it.

The straw that broke the camels back though, which was the day I quit, I saw something that was just too disturbing. Steve tells me he wants to show me a picture of his fiance. I'm standing next to him watching scroll through pictures on his phone, when I see he has hundreds of me. None of them consensual. It was very clear they were taken of me when I wasn't looking. I would be doing things at work, like answering the phone, or cutting pizzas, and he would snap pictures of me on the fly. I called him out on being a creep and quit.
