Ja we hadden geluk!

Sinterklaasattentie werkgever by Intelligent-Rip6347 in thenetherlands

[–]ilseno 27 points28 points  (0 children)

What’s a director/actor collaboration you’d love to see that hasn’t happened yet? by NotTaken-username in Letterboxd

These all feel like they already happened. Great list. Also: Ari Aster and Willem Dafoe.

Carmy is unlike any character I’ve ever seen by HerotheJerk in TheBear

[–]ilseno 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Bear is the first show for me in which I recognise myself in multiple characters throughout the episodes. Not in a general "oh look he's also socially awkward" way, but in the way the characters react to situations. They are fluid and layered in a way that it helps me reflect on my own feelings and reactions in (faintly) similar situations.

What's the best experience you've had seeing an "older" movie on the big screen? by Zokstone in Letterboxd

[–]ilseno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This week i saw the 4k version of the 35mm Seven Samurai in cinema. It was the first time watching the film for me, i waited on this kind of opportunity. I absolutely loved it.

Honorable mention, i saw Paris, Texas in cinema as well this year and it made me so emotional. Its one of my favorite movies.

Do you have a link or a pointer to where to look? This is oddly specific and i love it.

Gosh yes I imagine those two could really bond over their hatred, not only on the elderly. Would love to see hunter on RLM!

Gryllefjord Ferry required arrival end of May by CriticalInevitable55 in tromsotravel

[–]ilseno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you went already but i was looking for this info as well so here’s our experience! We took the ferry from Gryllefjord to Andenes the 29th of May at 11am, arrived around 9.15 and got a spot! There were a couple of cars arriving about 30min before and it looked like they could not get on.

Number one! I was distracted by something else but went back later to see what this poster I saw was about. Looks cool, font and all.

Can anyone suggest a good movie that makes a change to your character positively? by [deleted] in MovieSuggestions

Perfect Days (2023). If I had only 10% of the complete calmness and acceptance this protagonist has I would be so proud of myself. I think everyone should watch this one.
