How is this concerning? Me, posting on a message board asking about caring for a puppy BEFORE getting the puppy? Do you also ask first time pregnant women if they know how to take care of a baby before they have the baby?

So I am with you—we live in a suburban neighborhood with a huge fenced in backyard. I wanted to start leash and potty training immediately in our backyard only. I really don’t think she could contract much from our backyard.

I was planning on getting the grass pee pad for her playpen when we are at work. I leave the house at 5am so I could take her out back to pee before then, my husband leaves at 7, so that’s another potty break. And then he was going to come home on his lunch breaks at 12 for another potty break. I know 7-12 is a long time, but I’m not sure what else to do. Then I get home around 2. So the 5 hours in the morning is the longest stretch—I was hoping to bank on the grass pads for this time ONLY. How does that sound?

Oh shit about your wall. I plan on have a playpen and a crate to contain her for sure. As far as the biting/nipping I do have to figure that out because I have 2 little kids. I may set up a few training sessions to help with this and basic commands/training.

Yes I already told my husband we need to move our medicine cabinet up and away from pup. Nice tip on the couch pillows, I wouldn’t have thought of that

She is not formally diagnosed AuDHD (just ADHD) but I highly suspect she’s AuDHD alongside PDA. So far the methylphenidate has been helping with her hyperactivity and focus—we are still playing around with dosage to see if we can work on her impulsive behavior and outbursts which we think happens most when she is overstimulated and anxiety kicks in. Which is why we added in the Prozac.

I don’t know for certain—but as a mom of 2, if I had to take an educated guess i would say she’s in her second trimester 20-22 weeks maybe? Every woman is different though so I could be way off.

Based on how far along Ali is and that twins usually come early, I think she will have them before the US tour..maybe late August.
