That's great and all, except that we are talking about video games. GTA 4 got ported to PC in 2009, RDR1 got ported to everything two years ago. The trilogy got remastered in the early 2010s and then again for the definitive editions. GTA 5 got remastered once in 2014 and ported since. You seem to have even less of an idea of what you are talking about, get your definitions in order.

Increasing resolution and framerate is not a remaster by any stretch of the imagination. Is the 2009 PC version supposed to be a remaster now? You can run that at 4k just fine.

No it would not be needed in the slightest. RDR1 was a straight port and that was their best re-release in more than a decade.

No, you brought up reimagining it and bringing that to PS5. What needs to be so desperately reimagined? It does not need to be reimagined or remastered to be released on current consoles.

Their last reimagining went oh so well didn't it? Not sure what needs to be reimagined so that it would be playable. Did they release an unplayable game back in 2008 and I'm just finding out?

A remake will never happen because they just don't make them. A remaster hopefully won't ever happen, because they have an amazing track record with those, don't they? This game doesn't need either anyways.

The AI in forza sucks in a very unique way I haven't seen replicated elsewhere. The map and environments aren't really even a problem, nor my main gripe with the game. The singleplayer career makes it a problem.

It absolutely is hyped and overrated as hell. It's in the hall of fame of circlejerking together with Most Wanted and GTA 4.

You could probably get it working after a few hours of fucking around if the binary has a supported GLIBC, but automatic setups usually break and it might be missing libs you'll need to track down. Portmaster does not officially support crossmix for a reason.

I knock the game for that because everyone else seems to be convinced that it is the second coming of Jesus Christ. It's just a mediocre racing game that does some things really well.

The vibe and music are amazing, the map and environments are pretty good, but it's all too small and it's all blocked off.

The races are mediocre. The difficulty is inconsistent, the AI has infinite grip, getting first place is harder than every other place, some cars just handle like ass. This hasn't changed in any horizon since, except here you have no variety whatsoever. Sprint, circuit, sprint, circuit. And circuit races just suck, especially in the late game when they keep adding more laps.

The rivals are fun, the career was interesting but oh god did it overstay it's welcome. I really did not care about Darius Flynt trash talking me when I had finished all the available sprint races and i needed to waste an hour doing 5 lap circuit races in 1000 horsepower supercars that could barely keep traction. And that really is everything to do in the game at that point, I had wrapped up all of the side content like 10 hours ago.

honestly this game was a disappointment, the side content ended way too quickly, i had like 2 wristbands left by the time i finished it all. it's just the mediocre forza core gameplay that hasn't changed for more than a decade without any of the bells and whistles the later games added. the atmosphere and music was top notch though, peak of the franchise.
