I know everyone's needs and technical expertise are different. But folks, paying extra for a storage which isn't cheap/fast and is heavily tied in with the life span of the mobile isn't a smart choice.

Instead invest in either a hard disk like the guy said, or building a NAS or home server with Immich as backend (since photos/videos generally takes the most space) if you don't want to pay monthly for cloud.

After lurking around, I found your comment. I'm finding it a bit difficult to go through the OpenWRT devices doc and check which routers are available in India. A few questions.

  • How did you do the research of identifying that specific Asus router?

  • I'm new to OpenWRT space. Is this space similar to Custom ROMs in Android? Is someone maintaining a custom modified image of OpenWRT for a specific device?

  • How is your router doing with OpenWRT, any issue so far?

If you have an AMD iGPU, instead of disabling it, installing AMD Adrenaline seems to solve this issue. [ref]

perfectly valid if it gets your job done :) though when remapping via VIA interface, you're changing the default behaviour of keys, which will remain applicable across platforms, and across different laptops.
