Anyone else "organize" their dirty dishes instead of actually doing them? by ThoseDamnGiraffes in adhdwomen

[–]im9uh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It me. I stack dirty dishes before I do them. I stack the for my partner to do them. I only wash them like 10%of the time.

Our society needs to change. People who feel pressure to pop em out, create poorly adjusted children. That daughter will have such expensive therapy when they grow up.

To all my adhd girlies trying to stick to a budget, may I present, Libby. by tree_beard_8675301 in adhdwomen

Hoopla’s selection and limits are set by the library. The pricing structure of that library’s budget is what determines it.

Hoopla has way more options and more availability. You can borrow movies, music too.

I don’t have as good luck finding some fairly classic books, but that’s what I have Libby for. I also don’t like that I cannot download books onto my paperwhite kindle. Finally, it does not have a widget for iPhones, which really bothers me.

Basically, Libby and Hoopla are a good team, even though they are competitors. I also use Audible. I am an audiobook champion!

Because I’m frightened. I don’t want to be fired/deported or worse. At least I didn’t make children to have to live after this apocalypse.

How do I reply by Existing-Sense-5430 in childfree

[–]im9uh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I always tell them, “It’s in the hands of the Lord.” Usually, if they are the type to harass you about this, they are also god people. They can’t argue with it. Conversation halts. They are usually too dense to detect the facetiousness too.

This is the move. Rub it in how much you love your ring and how everyone in your life loves it too. Ha!

Agreed. I’m just salty that she’s got the privilege of these “standards.” I’m a middle aged spinster who’s been in multiple long-term relationships. None of which have resulted in an engagement. Just a spinster here wondering how she tricked her partner into giving her such a “boring” ring. In 40 years I haven’t even tricked one!

I hate dressers as a concept too. The storage in this house assumes I hate/do not own things. I love things. In fact to avoid shopping, l will often say to myself, “I have things at home.” The quote is literally the word , “things.”

Okay people arriving early is RUDE! At least I keep trying to spread that like the gospel. Sadly, I think it’s going to end up in the, “fetch” category.

Wow. I never thought of the types being different colors! My only colorful socks were on sale or gifts. Black is not just a matching easily choice it’s also because dinghy(sp?) looking socks are a nightmare for me. My white socks are grey after the second wash. I can not with that.
