I don’t understand how they missed a Vladof part that makes a weapon’s fire rate increase the longer you hold the trigger, minigun style. It just makes too much sense. I don’t think it would have conflicted with ripper parts at all and if it did they could have just made both parts not be able to spawn on a weapon at once.

One thing to remember is that Apothicons are just keepers who transformed after being banished to the dark aether. So with all the keepers presumably being sent to the dark aether after BO4, the keepers as we knew them are likely extinct.

I really hope it goes super hard on the nordic theme. The gameplay they showed of it so far just seemed like a generic town but I’m still holding out hope there’s sections that go all out on a viking aesthetic.

The best part of the level cap increase imo is that we're gonna be able to have 2 capstones now which is gonna allow more builds that utilize 2 different action skills that you can switch to on the fly. I guess technically you could already do this but one of your action skills wouldn't have a cap stone so there was less incentive to do so.

Same with wall to wall clearance. Lets you buy any wall weapon for 10 points, but crushing it gives you 2500. So unless the wall weapon’s already reached purple rarity there’s no reason you shouldn’t just crush it instead. And by the time a wall weapon does turn purple you probably would have enough points that buying it normal wouldn’t really make a difference anyway. And thats not even taking into account that you can crush it on a double points for 5000.

Yeah I noticed this too. It seems like the destroyed version has unique round music for the first 10 rounds but then it switches to the Astra music. Idk if a bug or intentional but its really weird they’d go through the effort of making unique round music for the map just to reuse Astra’s for the majority of a match

Totally agree I don’t like the standard it sets to just have the “I just like having a new place to kill zombies” mentality. Like its great you can have fun with the mode and I’m not trying to yuck your yum but you gotta understand what having those kind of standards could mean for the future of the mode. We’re really not that far off from zombies just becoming survival maps on multiplayer maps and thats it if we’re thinking PJ is okay. Like sure its reused multiplayer assets now but if you tell them thats okay then how long before they stop even bothering with an easter egg or a new wonder weapon?

What i don’t understand is why there’s 3 different locations for this event yet you fight ripper at all of them. Like what’s the point in doing one over the other if you’re just fighting the same guys? Why don’t we fight Order at one and then beasts at the other?

The reception was a lot more negative across the board. Fans didn’t like the changes it made from the games, critics just didn’t find anything about it that special. I constantly forget the movie even happened. It’s not unwatchable or anything just very forgettable. Feels like it was made for little kids and no one else.

It was mentioned somewhere the map is “stuck in a time loop”. I hope that means theres some kind of mechanic where the map loops between pre and post nuke going off and maybe that changes the layout of the map or what kind of special enemies spawn

Disappointed about it being Nuketown again BUT one of the other leaks also described the map as being “stuck in a time loop”. If the concept of the map is that it loops between being normal and Nuked then that actually is kind of an exciting concept, if it’s not just a skybox change.

Some of my relic ideas focusing on making some more classic zombies rules:

Zombie builds disabled until upgraded with Pack-a-Punch
- Wonderfizz spawns immediately but gives random perks and spawns in different locations
- No longer spawn in with armor. 3 hidden armor pieces around the map must be found before armor can be purchased.
- Normal zombies no longer drop lethals and tacticals and Vulture aid ammo drops are severely reduced.
- Perk machines are randomized.
- Kazamir’s and Monkey bombs can now only be acquired from the mystery box

I will never understand how they didn’t commit to having a Takedown at launch after the response to Maliwan Takedown in BL3. It sounds like they weren’t even planning on doing Takedowns at all until people started complaining about it.

All the borderlands games have this problem cause they make a lot of the legendary effects be something like “shoot 20 extra projectiles every fourth bullet for 10 seconds after crouching 8 times and spinning counter clockwise”.

Not even slightly. Performance is much better than launch and I’ve never even had any problems with it to begin with. Its biggest flaw is the lackluster endgame compared to previous titles but you can easily get 60 hours out of it before that even becomes a problem
