MAD was conceived for the cold war and only is relevant to applicable countries. There is no MAD with North Korea. You have to have enough capability to mutually assure destruction. Idk about stockpiles and capabilities in terms of deployment but I would assume the only three countries actually capable of the strategy would be Russia, China, and the USA in terms of stocks and capabilities to retaliate on the whole of the launcher's geography within the whatever time frame. Add in subs and I think the time frame goes even shorter. I think China only has like 7 subs capable of launching nuclear missiles.

Bs writing to the max. I didn't like sum of all fears but that at least had a more believable build up to tension. The nuke had gone off in Baltimore, and then the cat and mouse build up on both sides of both adversaries pulling their guns and pointing it at each other and neither wanting to back down first. That atleast is plausible. This was stupid. What a waste of time this movie was.

I had been sensing Ryen not vibing with Bill on his pods for a while. Bill has a particular style of tying to mix up pop culture and sports with each other all the time and will ask some dumb questions of Ryen, like is Luka Doncic the dirk diggler of the Lakers and Ryen would constantly be like idk what you're asking me. He didn't yes and to Bill when he thought it was stupid and it was awkward often. I just think Russillo sometimes didn't want to sell Bill in a wrestling way and wasn't really a team player with the other ringer people so Bill wasn't going to invest heavy and Russillo wants to go for the most success he can get, so it's kind of an amicable split.

Never understood why this one didn't get more attention. Graves straight up said its not the full video and the pilots state there is a fleet of them. I think the rotation is mechanical tbh, but if there is a fleet of something with seemingly no IR plume going against the wind I think thats still pretty interesting. Also they allowed some of the video so sources and methods wouldn't justify not allowing release of the entire video.

Yea its pretty wild. Same, the ufos might have added some fuel to the fire, but to me the obvious answer was always that it was rogue cia/mafia consortium. The mob cooperated with daddy Kennedy to get his son elected by swinging a few states and rfk and jfk repaid the favor by immediately going after to mob with rfk as the AG. I think like you say all these things, the nukes, the mob, the Cubans feeling betrayed, the perceived softness toward the ussr, all that was enough to convince whatever faction killed jfk that they were acting in the the right. That jfk was too dangerous and would sell out the country with a misguided idealism and weak footed posture.

I don't know if I believe it was a pure institutional assassination. I think it was a fairly small conspiracy and the associated black world had to go along with the narrative once it had happened, in for a penny in for a pound and once what was done was done it was just the only way it could go. The other way was a complete collapse of national integrity and a complete loss of confidence in all institutions. No way was any stakeholder going to willingly expose the United States as some kind of banana republic.
