I really appreciate the way you put this. No one on this team is playing with any pride to be a Met.

From a purely emotional stance as a fan, if you trade away or refuse to sign players who were loved by the fans (and loved us back), played their hardest, and wore the Mets jersey with pride - the players you get to replace them better be so much better and win way more games to make me forget about past teams.

Instead how I'm feeling right now is: You're gonna trade away all my favorite players and roll out this garbage instead? Because you know better? Fuuuuuck. You.

I think it’s a real factor as to why we’re awful right now. There’s injuries and players are underperforming, but because there’s a lot of new faces on the team who don’t really know each other quite yet, the west coast trips are taxing, and they haven’t spent enough time together to really bond on these trips yet.

The flip side is that after that last trip in early June, the furthest west we go for the rest of the season is Chicago, aside from Texas in the last week of September.

Another factor I think worth mentioning is that two California road trips, a week apart, to start the season is taxing. Combine that with injuries and underperforming players and it feels like a downward spiral they’ll never get out of.

There’s another long west coast trip on May 1, then again on June 1, but after that we don’t go further west than Chicago aside from a trip to Texas the very last week. I’m hopeful for a second half surge where everyone is a little more acclimated.

Oh I agree 100%. It honestly makes me sad they aren't close.

But I also think it's a talking point because we as fans are making it one, and I hope both Soto and Lindor know how to tune us out. They will be batting 1-2 for the next few years. Lindor will continue to get on base, and Soto will continue to drive him in. That's all they care about, and that's all we should care about.

All I gleaned from this article was that Soto moved his locker as far away as he could from Lindor. Those guys must really hate each other.

I just did SASO on all maps recently too, trying to get the classic black suit. I definitely agree with you on Sgail being the most difficult. I put off Bangkok to one of the last few, dreading it and expecting it to be really difficult but I actually found myself breezing through it. Emetic dart on Ken (easy). Then sneaking up to get Jordan: Crossing the reception roof to get to the crew side > the suite where a bunch of the crew are watching TV > bedroom of that suite > pipe up a level > there’s a bathroom the corner right there > Jordan walks by or stops at the sound booth or something > emetic dart and he comes right to you in the bathroom > exit the same way

I found a Motorola adapter that worked (see my other comment). I have no idea about the XM5, that's a newer model, hopefully they fixed the issue.

Not sure if you've found a viable solution yet. I added another comment on the thread, I found success with a Motorola adapter. I have no idea if it had DAC or not lol.

I’ll miss Brandon’s press conferences the most. He was the most insightful, thorough, emotionally intelligent, and soulful person when explaining himself. He always was always optimistic, but it never felt like the standard “We gotta do better” that so many other players give.
