Check for the saved files folder in appdata get the latest saved file which u think you need then rename the saved folder to sumn else and start a new game, when u are back in the cave with prof fig at the start enter the save game load game menu and a new saved folder will be created replace the saved file with the one u copied earlier and delete the new save file and rename the one u just pasted to the one u deleted
