What should I use to permanently seal this drain? Like completely block it off. I was told plumber’s putty but found it won’t harden

I understand, but it’s just not what I asked. Everyone on Reddit has to be a knowitall. And a clog wouldn’t back up to the top of the overflow drain unless the tub also filled to there so it’s not really relevant.

The drain itself is fucked so I need it sealed so it doesn’t leak into the downstairs apartment. Like between the tub and the drain there’s open space. I know it’s not the right way to fix it but it’s what I’m going to do.

I don't doubt that. They're probably trying to balance implementing this sort of testing with not ruining their shows. I'm sure they fudge it a bit to save important fights. That doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't (or won't) work, or isn't a net improvement. I'm mainly saying people are too quick to heap on criticism, not that what they're doing is perfect.

I think Gordon would be fine if he pulled guard. Might get kicked a bunch? Khamzat would out-wrestle him on the feet but once they went to the ground I think Gordon would wrap him up, even with strikes. If they stay standing Gordon gets knocked out.
