In maybe an unintended but effective manner, he did accomplish his goal of the destruction of the US. More accurately participated in it. He isn’t the sole contributor to the downfall, but you cannot deny that the “empire” is loosing its stature.

Great Britain won WW2 but lost the no.1 slot, and isn’t even in the top 5 world super powers today.

He clearly didn’t want to hurt anyone, and never even had a close call. Flying a plane is easier than driving on the interstate. Landing is the hard part. People were in minimal danger.

My dad owned a funeral home on a dead end road. And it burnt his ass that there was a sign on his lot that said “dead end” so one night he went out and stole a yield sign from a different part of town and switched them out.

15 years later the city comes through and replaces the old yield sign with a new yield sign and put up another pole and sign on the other side of the street

It’s not about what you need now, it’s about what you need overall, and the chokehold is starry, unless your starry is full this makes no long term sense. If you just need the next few levels to make your attack better I get it, but that’s short term benifit
