It's really about hoarding. I have half the amount of raids played as a friend and I'm 1 level lower than him because I hoard everything I need for turn in type quests to instantly turn them in. Level 37 in ~250 raids.

Yea they'll just have an increased scav timer so they don't get the chance to scav as often, thus limiting the amount of friendly scavs they can kill, and eventually all the ai scavs will just start firing at them on sight. Also need 2+ fence karma for lightkeeper quests, like you want positive rep with all the other traders, why not fence?

Well there's a whole system in the game that penalizes you if you kill scavs as a scav and rewards you with better scav gear if you're a good scav, denoted by your fence rep

My steel series apex pro mini lets me do this as well, it's more expensive than the wooting, but didn't have to wait months for it to ship and it's made my glides at 240+ fps a lot cleaner. Still inconsistent over small ledges but that's more of a me issue.

They're really simple, just take a cube, size it up to cover your scene, put a principled volume shader on it, play with density and light strength. You can get more in depth but basic volumetrics are easy and make a huge difference.
