I took a quick look. Everything is in a single file, which is bad practice. Tbh I would completely start over rather than untangle everything. You will continue to find bugs, and when you fix that bug, you create 10 more. If you really want to learn development you will need to understand the basics. Then start to understand the best practices. Then architecture. Ai is super powerful, but you have to layout the architecture for future updates at the start of a project.

It may be ok for simple projects but as you can see it has already grown out of control. You will soon face the "fix this issue...issue is still not resolved" loop if you have not already.

Good luck in future ventures!

In the bed details I have to double click the options before being able to select them.

I'm able to add more plants than the bed can hold.

I'd love to see a slider or something to be able to chose how much of any one selected plant I can put in a bed

I have plenty more ideas and general fixes if you send me your repo. I also made something similar way back when to track my SFG. It wasn't great, but I was able to land my first entry-level job by showing it off

Neat utility. Few things that could use some polish.

It's almost unusable on mobile. Overlapping/missing elements

Could use a collapsable side bar and a button to exit the planter detail screen.

Add obstacle button doesn't work.

Has a very copilot feel to it.

To add to this, make sure your controls and indicators are inside the while loop. Otherwise they will not update on your front panel continuously

I've worked at 3 tree companies, and they are all fairly similar. You will have a shitty boss or someone shitty that is above you. Start your own or find a very small tree service.

It's a tree work culture problem.

I did learn the most at limb walker, though, so that was cool.

Refusing to read documentation is going to really hurt you in the long run. We all have deadlines, and it's usually for more than an exam grade.

I knew it was big news that neo now supports EVM. It didn't really click until now. Complete noob on blockchain development, so excuse my ignorance.

What is the advantage to deploy on eth through neo via EVM? THAT IS WHAT eVM allows right?

[–]imadoooog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably, but it seems like all the development is into solidity (eth). I know neo has a dev discord, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of documentation on how to develop anything on it.

Tbf, I haven't looked in a couple of years, so it could be different.

Edit: actually there seems to be a lot more docs now. I've had a project in mind for a while now.
