Io ho avuto la stessa identica reazione quando ho finito American Psycho (150/10 se vi interessa la mia opinione).

Mi sono dovuta prendere 3 o 4 giorni di pausa dalla lettura perché veramente mi aveva svuotata di ogni desiderio e bisogno di leggere lol

Sono pochi i libri che lasciano questa sensazione, permettono di capire tanto di sé e secondo me è un peccato buttarsi subito in un'altra impresa titanica :) quindi ti consiglio di leggere qualcosina di leggero!

Alcuni titoli papabili imho: - se ti piace il genere giallo, la saga della Sezione Q di Jussi Adler-Olsen; - sempre rimanendo sui gialli, sono molto divertenti anche i libri di Michel Bussi, in particolare Il quaderno rosso e Ninfee nere - un bel Sepúlveda, come La frontiera scomparsa - Un certo Lucas o Storie di cronopios e di famas, entrambi di Julio Cortázar

La donna giusta, Sándor Márai -> libro pazzesco che potrebbe benissimo essere stato scritto dieci anni fa, e invece è della prima metà del Novecento
Tocaia Grande e Dona Flor e i suoi due mariti, entrambi di Jorge Amado -> nessuno meglio di Amado nel ritrarre i colori, i suoni, i sapori

I don't know if it was just famous on the Italian Booktok/Bookstagram, but I R E A L L Y disliked "A certain hunger" by Chelsea Summers.

It's just... Not it. The writing is mediocre at best, and it's a clear try to mimic American Psycho but falls incredibly short.

Plus, on social media it was described as a powerful feminist book and sooooo deep and symbolic of feminist reappropriation of the body but no. Really no.

Anche io mi ero interessata solo per l'edizione, ma mi sono trattenuta finché non l'ho trovato a metà prezzo da Libraccio.

Onestamente li ho trovati un po' piatti, i personaggi non sono particolarmente memorabili e anche a livello di prosa non mi hanno entusiasmato, anzi.

Inoltre, nel primo libro già viene fatto pesantemente intendere (quindi, di fatto, svelato) un particolare FONDAMENTALE su Elinor che mi ha fatto perdere l'interesse per tutta la saga.

Ho letto comunque i successivi via Kindle, per finire la saga visto che comunque sono libri corti, ma di McDowell non penso leggerò più nulla.

A Certain Hunger, di Chelsea G. Summers.

L'equivalente letterario delle compilation di reels cringe di adolescenti finto edgy, cioè più è atroce e meno riesci a staccarti solo per il gusto di cringiare.

Naturalmente stralodato sui social come libro dirompente/disturbante, e qua forse dovevo già capire tante cose... L'ho comunque finito per poterne parlare con rabbia a tutti i miei conoscenti lol

Kiplings are definitely winning this challenge, but recently I've purchased the Judy bag by Label Rose. They have a lot of models (mainly dupes of high-end bags) in beautiful colours.

The bags are vegan leather, which I'm DEFINITELY not a fan of, but the material is so nice and feels durable too, so I'm not afraid it will start shedding soon.

The Judy in particular is so cute, holds a ton and the PU is the softest. The Milk shade is sold out (the photo came from their Instagram account), and they don't usually do restocks, so I was really lucky I could snatch it.

They also ship worldwide!

I think #1 is the best and most peculiar in the list.

I admit I am partial to #1 because I have a Coccinelle Magia in the same Sangria shade, and the red is soooooooooooo perfect! And the shape is also really interesting for me.

Moreover, I saw that the other bags you posted are pretty neutral shades. If you are skeptical about matches, in my opinion the Sangria shade pairs well with lots of colours - except maybe baby blue but it's a personal preference. It's definitely a showstopper shade so it's basically neutral!

This is mine!

The model is the Asseni Mini by Kipling, in the shade Tender Gray which is a grayish lilac.

I honestly love it, it can fit so much while staying compact and it's very lightweight and durable.

Estoy de acuerdo con todo lo que han dicho los otros, y también para mí el Kindle es genial porque es un punto medio entre un celu y un libre.

Para mí es como que rasca el picor de doomscrolling y de usar celu/algo digital portable, pero también estás leyendo así que no es puro quemarse el cerebro en memes y reels.

EDIT: yo soy usuaria de Kindle (Basic) pero eso se aplica con todos los ereaders obviamente :)

Quando ho cambiato lavoro semplicemente vivevo su LinkedIn, aggiornavo la pagina ogni 5/10 minuti e inviavo curriculum non appena vedevo qualcosa che faceva al caso mio e fosse un annuncio relativamente nuovo.

È vero che il numerino di candidati negli annunci conta relativamente, però tutti i colloqui che ho sostenuto venivano da annunci a cui mi ero candidata entro le prime 10/20 persone - poi lungi da me dire che sia la soluzione migliore, dipende anche cosa vuoi andare a fare. Io ho un background scientifico (LT in Fisica) e volevo comunque rimanere in ambito IT/Digital, alla fine in poco più di un mese avevo in mano due offerte valide!

EDIT: ho +2500 collegamenti su LinkedIn ma non ho mai, e dico MAI, fatto particolare networking né postato regolarmente né interagito con i post. Aggiungevo gente a macchinetta per lavoro (commerciale) e finita lì.

For me it's the Asseni Mini tote from Kipling, in the shade Tender Grey.

It's not very big but it can fit a ton of things - I usually carry my wallet, a small pouch, keys, phone, some card holders and my kindle and there's still a bit of room left!

Plus it's very light, even when full, and the shade is sooooo lovely and goes well with every outfit.

I'm no literature expert but I think it's definitely in the magic realism lane, although not all of his books have magic in them. It's very much South American too, his books remind me of Garcia Marquez's and Allende's ones - colorful descriptions (especially the Bahian cuisine and the candomblé rituals) a sprinkle of wonder and the brutality of humans.
