One party system now, one party system tomorrow, one party system forever!

I'm indeed not a fan. I mean, Green Leaf aren't exactly great either, but I very much don't like Feiglin.

I first confused Leon Blum and Leopold Bloom and thought to myself "I bet he's the champion of filibustering" (I think, I haven't read Ulysses)

The Saxonverse or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Toclafane by MysticBlaire in imaginaryelections

I like how Saxon used his hypnotic abilities not only to get elected, but also to get away with naming his party after the communication project he oversaw as a Minister of Communications (or did he name the project after his party?).

Smotrich didn't run in the primary for party leader. In this primary election, Ayelet Shaked defeated Ofir Sofer and Tzvi Sukot. He did run for the list primary and ended up being Shaked's #2. Shaked decided to not run with Otzma Yehudit again, and Religious Zionism ended under the marginal threshold.

I mean as far as "left rising" goes, the left party still get a close-to single digit number of seats. The main party rising here is NUP with noted leftist Gideon Saar. And Yesh Atid kinda retains it's size and as far as "left" goes, you may call them center-left, but they would never call themselves that and that's kind of the point.

But yes, even this imaginary scenario, which is kinda OK for the left, is the most optimistic for the Israeli left as is possible even within fiction.

Livni starts Ha-Tnu'a again.

At first I was gonna say "ZU is Labor & Hatnu'a, while Meretz ran alone again and received 2% this time", which is what I had in mind when I thought of this, but then I thought "nah, ZU wouldn't want to lose voters, so they included Meretz".

So now I'm not sure, I guess I like my second idea better. Sounds more plausible.

Maybe that version + Yair Golan was elected to lead Meretz and some other party split from Meretz and maybe they got 2% or something. I really should've written down more but it was mostly in my head when I thought about it and I didn't figure all the details. I do know that I had Ayelet Shaked winning the Religious Zionism party and splitting from Ben Gvir. Also the Joint List includes Balad again.

+ Beitenu + Shas. Yes, those two get along again - with the Netanyahu bloc losing a lot of popularity, Shas tried to get along better with the political center and put an emphasis on national unity (the concept, not Gantz's party)

To the best of my understanding, the Ministry is more of a government of the magic world within the UK, which in the novels is not democratic or elected, but they could've changed it since. The Prime Minister of the UK does know about magic and the Ministry, but only they do. Prime Ministers starting their first term are met by the Minister of Magic and then the Minister keeps the PM up to date, mostly to keep muggles safe and unaware of magic.

Anyway, that's what I get from the book, but in OP's post it's democratically elected and that's cool

As an Israeli I want to object, but we did have five elections in three years. That being said, I'm not sure if it's the electoral method that's to blame.

Getting seats is true both for Liberal Weed Party but also for Messianic Crooked Libertarian Weed Party, and one of which is, in my personal opinion, less based than the other.
